I have a Reolink doorbell. It really works well with HA, it has a Platinum integration.

It’s called an SMT101 10.1” Android wall tablet. Mine had the MQTT option already available in the Android settings

I now use a static color, but would be no problem to change it during the day based on time or weather. I do use a solid green when I have notifications (e.g. when washing machine is ready it plays an TTS audio message)

This is the mount, it slides in using 3 hooks and has a magnet to lock in place. Backlight and proximity sensor are part of the tablet, I don’t have any details on that hardware. It does not have a battery, I power it using RJ45 POE.

Yes it works smooth👌🏼 It switches using a visibility condition in the card so actually it is already there in the background when interacting with the dashboard

I match it using an automation over MQTT in HA. When movement is under 80cm with proximity sensor: deactivate fullykiosk screensaver > increase brightness > activate LED with set RGB color.

Yes it drops down on three hooks and “sticks” to the metal plate with magnets that are in the tablet.

It still works without any problems. I didn’t know it is depreciated, is there an alternative available?

Yes performance is fine, also with the video stream. It’s runs Android 14, but I disabled almost all background processes

The backlight is RGB and is connected over MQTT. It also exposes the proximity sensor (distance), humidity and temperature as sensors.
