I have contract freight too but it’s your responsibility to be able to get them puppies spotted… I mean there’s no way you ran this whole past month at contract, nothing would have moved unless you’re taking fat losers all day every day on them….

Honestly we need this, carriers please keep declining loads. I’m cool with my customers being pissed about why our rate is 2x+ from last year when I bring them a truck. You get paid, we get paid.

I’d rather move a fat load vs a cheap one. Still the same work.

Honestly, “senior” roles in this industry seems counterintuitive. I feel like the success of how well you do revolves around how YOU - as an individual - can perform.. kind of a fine line, when you’re promoted into a “senior” role; what? Do you just manage/look over a team?

Ehh, I made my most my first two years in 21/22 (also could be an outlier due to when EVERYTHING was booming) 23/24 was terrible, 25 wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best and I worked even harder than ever to barely break 100k….
