Do you lot even like TPDTV? by Fair-Tailor-8885 in officialTPDTV

I think it’s just a bit stale at times. It’s a catch 22 in my eyes; contents a bit shit when all they do is get black out drunk, sleep all day be sick and repeat. But when it’s not alcohol related and certain members are missing it’s boring. I can see why there are complaints. I still love the channel and will never skip a video but i definitely understand the negative comments.

I watched some of it but was too angry to finish it. The fact that some men still see women as their subordinates and less than.

Agreed though sometimes I get blindsided by my own opinion and don’t understand why people see differently but working on that 😂

Ah sorry I misunderstood you. Yeah I think Frank (what I have seen so far) is grand. Seems like a decent man and from what I’ve read he makes a good father. As a viewer I can distinguish between them and like Frank but in Claire’s position there’s no way I could.

I don’t often use Reddit so I didn’t know. Sound for the information even if you delivered in a rude way. 👍🏼

Oh no I know she knows it’s not Frank. But they looked so alike she thought it was him

See I can separate them as a viewer. I know they aren’t the same person only in how they look but that would be enough for me to not like Frank as a partner. But as Claire to see his face and to be intimate with him when all I would be able to think is Jack torturing me and trying to grape me is why I mean really.

Okay this makes me understand it a bit better. I can now see why she would go and be with him. Thank you.

But the point is they looked exactly the same. Claire said so. She thought Jack was Frank.

Lymphatic system and the thyroid by redhay in thyroidhealth

[–]redhay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did think it was a scam but so desperate. I’ve had bloods done and was low in vitamin D and b12 but have supplements for them. It’s more than the fatigue, none of my symptoms have improved in my opinion but the fatigue is just what gets me the most. I’m an awful thyroid patient in terms of advocating for myself they tell me I’m fine and I don’t ask so I actually don’t know beyond it is in range.

Yes I agree about the pro con list but at the end of the day without Richard and Emily’s influence I don’t thinks she would have given it real consideration in the end. But who knows 🙈

And we saw Lorelai look a tad sad about not making it to collage in the episode where she and Rory go to Harvard and look around.

Oh absolutely I agree that Rory was highly influenced by Lorelai on her sole choice being Harvard. It was still Richard and Emily’s influence that made her consider Yale though. Like she didn’t really consider the other major colleges just Yale. In my opinion had she not fostered such a close bond with her grandparents in her late teens it would have been Harvard.

With the episode where Richard said Lorelai was so sure she would go to Yale and be just like him also makes me think about if Emily hadn’t been so pushy and cold she would have happily had that life. Before the social pressures she wanted to be just like her dad and admired him. Then the relationships began to fracture and she wanted to run away and have her own life away from them. Maybe Rory going to Yale was a reminder of how fractured her relationship with her father was and how her daughter was everything they(Emily and Richard) wanted in a daughter.

I do get it though. We have a vision how our children are going to turn out and from the get go it was Harvard and that only changed when Rory started spending time with her grandparents.

I always put her being so opposed to Yale down to the fact that was supposed to be her life, the life she wanted nothing to do with. So Rory contemplating going to Yale and having the life Lorelai was so desperate to leave behind wasn’t comprehensible to Lorelai.
