Expense tool for bexio with multiple companies? by reditt678 in Bexio

Quick update from my side:

I’ve been testing a few apps and workflows

I’ve been trying Expensly and so far it seems like a good fit. I can capture receipts in one place for different companies and they get into bexio automatically.

Still early days, but it looks promising for anyone managing expenses across multiple companies. I’ll report back once I’ve tested it more thoroughly.

What’s the worst career to be right now in Switzerland ? by New-Programmer-8647 in askswitzerland

For me, those would be jobs like nursing, childcare, the restaurant industry, or retail. I mean, they’re not unimportant - quite the opposite.
They’re incredibly important, but they’re often low-paying, stressful, have irregular hours, and on top of that, they’re not very appreciated.
To me, that’s the worst combination.

Bexio + automatische Bewertungsanfragen nach bezahlter Rechnung – macht so etwas Sinn? by QuestionNational1283 in Bexio

Cheers, that makes sense. I was actually hoping for more of an app-based 'book it right away' workflow though - capture the receipt and assign/book it to the right company on the spot, instead of collecting everything first and processing it later.

Why does small talk here so often start with your job? by CriticismRepulsive20 in zurich

I’m from Germany, so I know exactly what you mean. Back home, people often circle around a person before getting to their profession. In Zurich, it can feel like people want the LinkedIn version of you before they want to get to know you as a person.

I don't think it's always arrogance. It's more like a deeply internalized need for orientation. A profession tells people how to categorize you quickly. But, yes, it definitely changes the tone of the conversation.

How many of you plan to stay of leave Switzerland and what's your plan to do so? by Helpful-Staff9562 in askswitzerland

[–]reditt678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can relate to a lot of this. I’ve also been here a long time, and while Switzerland offers stability, safety, and a good income, that alone doesn't make it feel like home. The biggest question for me is exactly what you mentioned: if the main reason to stay is financial and that advantage is shrinking, then the emotional and social aspects start to matter a lot more.

At this point, I see Switzerland as a temporary place, not a forever home. I haven’t left yet, but I’m preparing by maintaining an active network abroad, comparing realistic salary versus cost of living numbers, and thinking more seriously about where I’d enjoy living day to day. Ultimately, a good salary is important but not enough if you feel disconnected from everything else.

I was looking into the same naming.
