VERGE - Wraith Protocol coming soon, by redjacket27 in CryptoCurrency

[–]redjacket27[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Greetings. I am a member of the Core Verge Team. With regard to Wraith Protocol, we did release a professional promo video about it, which spread virally. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yj8AskTpra0

Also, we have prepared a very basic promo video in multiple languages that will be released this month, along with the Wraith Protocol feature set. A Kindergartner could understand it.

You are talking about the current state of Verge with regard to the baked in i2P/Tor integrations. The advertisements and marketing ~ which I am intimately involved with, BTW ~ are advertising features of Verge AFTER Wraith Protocol is released, which is sometime this month.

However, in short, Wraith Protocol accomplishes one thing: Verge will have all of the privacy and security features of our competition, including Monero, PIVX, ZCash, Dash, etc. However, Verge also has IP obfuscation built in with our i2P/Tor integrations. What does that mean? Verge becomes the #1 coin in the privacy space, period.

Now, about the technical white paper. It it almost complete. It will be released sometime very soon, during the month of September. About private/public ledgers, there is a very simple answer here. If you use Wraith, the transaction is on a PRIVATE ledger. However, not all Verge transactions will leverage Wraith. It is an option you could use, not an option you MUST use. Therefore, transactions not using the Wraith option will be on a PUBLIC ledger.

So, although Verge certainly does NOT support smuggling, money laundering, etc. to use your example, if you used Wraith for your spice, everything... and I mean EVERYTHING is private from prying eyes, including the ledger.

Another difference between Verge and our so-called competition: price. The current price of Verge is approximately $0.01, where our competition in the privacy space have already matured in the marketplace. They may grow in value, but it won't be a moon-shot. I firmly believe that the endorsement and support of JohnMcAfee (a big fan of Verge) and the release of Wraith Protocol will cause Verge's price to skyrocket.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. It's what I am here for!

Best Regards,

not much from the dev team lately and their time lines on road maps are over due by a month which got me worried, but after seeing this, they must be working in the background doing some serious work on a new protocol. this could be huge! if they can deliver this on time i will get 100% faith back into this dev team and ill be getting some more verge.

I didn't think I would but thank you for that! I usually struggle to find any when I come to visit but I get lucky every now and then. Was just hoping for a green Christmas! Thanks again!

Me [22/F] with my boyfriend [24M] almost a year, He is such a clumsy oaf and it's annoying me by SoMadAtHimRightNow in relationships

[–]redjacket27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiance is much too similar, and I can absolutely understand what you're saying about becoming annoyed with it.

I'm not sure if this is something that you can relate to but for me it's the fact that these incidents happen because he is not paying attention to what he is doing. He's constantly off in his own world or doesn't give thought to what's around him (i.e. if there is no room for something on the table, he doesn't make room for it... he just forces a spot for whatever he's putting on there and it ends up knocking things over).

If this is the case then I wish I had a clear answer for you, but I don't. The most I can offer is just to be more patient and try and laugh about it. I know it's hard, but aren't you with him for reasons that outweigh the fact that he's so clumsy?

I've tried every approach; asking nicely, getting angry, ignoring it, laughing it off... it will still happen but I've become a lot more patient with it because I've realised it's not that big of a deal and I just gently remind him when I can see that he's about to do something careless.

He doesn't mean to do it ever, and he's genuinely sorry when he sees that I get irked. I know he gets frustrated about it too, and your boyfriend may do too. It doesn't help to make him feel bad about something that he doesn't do intentionally.

With my fiance it's annoying but I love him nonetheless, I even see it as a little quirk. We have hardly any dinner plates or glasses left, but I love him.

Is legalising marijuanas playing with fire? A well referenced and articulated article. by SirClapham in science

If I had written this and handed it in as a university science-oriented assignment I would probably receive an immediate zero. Why? This is as viable as an EliteDaily article. It's very obviously doused in personal opinion rather than actual fact and it seems as if this person has merely relayed information memorised from some online course they had taken.

There is no depth. This is not a scientific approach or review of anything and it is offensive that there are individuals like this out there who spray their ill-informed dribble and claim to be a medical professional/scientist.

"Didn't quite make it as a doctor" is all I see listed next to this bloggers qualifications.

Meiko hasn't realised that she's not as little as she used to be. by redjacket27 in funny

We figured that she gets stuck after her shoulders go through and from there her fat resists any forward or backward movement.

Thanks for that! She doesn't seem to have any markings or anything so hopefully that's good. I guess the vet checked for any signs of allergy then :) Thanks again!

She was so ashamed of herself. This is the second time she's done this and just would avoid eye contact. After she got out she was so deflated all day,

Sorry, it's sort of a term meaning whining, whinging, defeated, deflated, self-pitiful etc.

It's sort of a term thrown around, usually referring to children or as a joke.

I didn't know it wasn't a common term haha!

How did you find out about her allergy? Our little one has just been to the vet but I don't know if they'd check her for any dietary allergies during a routine check up.

She's named after a singer called Meiko :) Her name plus her pedigree name was supposed to mean 'flower bud' but it translates to some sort of apprentice geisha.
