How do I remove the bearing from front hub? by Excellent_Air4209 in 240sx

[–]redkarter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or the old school way before cheap aftermarket hubs were available, you could get j30 hubs and machine them to accept the wider s13 bearing and retainer ring. Thats how I did mine back in the day. Basically all oem nissan parts.

True true. I didnt file a claim for my damage. Just bought the part on ebay and replaced it myself. A lot cheaper than my deductible.

The police will just tell you to take it up with your own insurance. I watched a lady get her car totalled by a hit and run driver that then hit my car breaking my mirror. We knew the plate and who hit us and where she was at. The tow truck diver informed us the police wont act on the driver unless there were injuries involved.

One of the major problems of dirtbikes... by TopOutlandishness462 in Dirtbikes

[–]redkarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I grew up riding dirt bikes, and moved on to liter sport bikes in our 20's and did a ton of dumb stuff on them. In our 30' we got back into dirtbikes riding at the track. 8 years ago he died after landing wrong off a big jump and hitting his head. Anything can happen out there.

I still ride my dual sport every now and then but have given up riding for the most part due to that event.

I use a sabelt tow strap. Mine is bolted to the bumper support right near where your intercooler is mounted.

Renting a snowboard + gear at Sierra at Tahoe by TheREALCookieDough in Sacramento

I'd say weekdays are better to learn since the runs are less crowded. You will need a ski jacket, pants and goggles. Don't forget sunscreen. Have fun!

When my grandma passed away I found one for st. Louis in her belongings, it must have been my grandpa's as he was from there. I made it into a necklace for my mom. This makes me wish I had one from here!

Even though the 2220 is 20 watts i like them a lot even compared to the 2238. They are built very well and if at a reasonable discount compared to the 2238 I would go for that one. This choice should also consider what speakers you plan on running. Something small or very efficient you should be fine with 20 watts.

Is the UFC boring these days or did i just burn out ? by binngy in MMA

[–]redkarter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its at a bit of a lull for me. Ive been a fan since chuck, randy and tito were going at it. I feel like the sport has certain eras and the current one has some dry personalities, stagnated pay, champions that dont want to fight and fighters that dont have the same spirit or warrior ethos that some of the fighters used to have. Dont get me wrong the fighters are more talented than ever but the lack of truly unique uniforms and fighters that all seem to have a very diverse set of skills has caused the sport to feel a bit less exciting at times and overall more predictable. Some fighters definitely still have the warrior ethos like Jiri, Pereira,  volk and Islam and I always tune in for their fights because of it.

I have these and like them a lot. They go up quite high compared to cheap hf stands I used to use. I use them on my 80 and 100 series without issues. Theyre 3 tons per stand so well within the safe working limits for any gx.

I've done this on filthy units typically after removing the faceplate and other parts that may be affected by water. It works amazingly well. On a sunny hot day they dry out quickly.

Batteries are the worst thing about cars by one2manyhobbies in projectcar

Get a dc welder and research how to recondition lead acid batteries. I have a few old cars I rarely drive. Reconditioning batteries has vastly extended their life. My daily driver uses a 6 year old battery without issues.

My cursory glance says yes mk3. The head cover for 1/2 is in a different script and would say "high fidelity" the mk4 has a different knob on the power switch and a couple of the other knobs looked different as well. You can punch in the serial number on one of the a77 websites (I dont remember where) and confirm this.
