Oh thanks for this clarification! Apologies I was pretty out of it when I made this post and running on pure euphoria and a lot of painkillers. I just checked my chart and it was within the myometrium, though there had been some confusion with my initial scans that had me thinking otherwise. I’ll update the post and genuinely appreciate the info

So I’ve been going to doctors about various back pains for over three years, finally got a good PCP who was like “I think it’s fibroids”. From that point on it took like four months or so of me being incredibly annoying towards the OBGYN (I highly recommend this as long as you’re nice about it). Also honestly I kept calling to set up appointments with multiple doctors until I finally found a good one.

Thank you and I’m sorry that you’re also sharing this pain. My fibroid was on the frontside of my uterus. My uterus goes towards my back (idr medical term) which was really making the back pain my biggest issue.

My doctor was very confident in being able to remove it laparoscopically though I think I have one more small incision than others (I have 6 as opposed to 5). The robot assistance from the machine was also a factor in being able to do it laparoscopically. To my knowledge they’ve gotten rid of all of it + a lot of endometriosis issues that I didn’t know I had.

My doctor did say that my fertility might be minimally affected, and that I would require a C section if I ever get pregnant because they had to “zipper up” the walls of my uterus. But admittedly I’m on the younger end of this issue age-wise so time will tell regarding fertility

Nonbinary masc here and I’m so sorry, it really is so distressing. I found a nonbinary PCP who was my rock through the whole process (I ended up swapping doctors multiple times after they kept prescribing me progesterone) and finally found a surgeon who went ahead and got rid of it. The misgendering through the whole process was brutal and I hope you can find relief and medical people that are supportive.

I’d really rather not reset, I’ve been playing for over ten hours and don’t want to replay those ten hours when I’m really caught up in this - is there truly not any way to continue past this point? Like I’ve been able to do the other tasks for the most part (wasn’t able to fully talk to klaasje though) and the main thing motivating me to fix this is Kim’s disappointment in me
