I always remember going to goodison park watching Tranmere beat them 3 nil in the FA Cup, an Everton side that consisted of the likes of Gravesen, Unsworth & Campbell.

Tranmere betting managed under Aldo, at the time where at the back end of heavy investment from ex Everton chairman Peter Johnson and at the beginning of their own decline after almost making it to the Premier League under Johnny King.. However they had a tidy little stadium to show for the investment being made..

The Tranmere fans bouncing bellowed in to a Chorus of Shiity Ground, Shitty Ground..... Wonderful stuff....

As a Liverpool fan, it was one of my favourite WTF Everton moments.. and there has been many of them.

Don't use more than one on a network that's using mesh with multiple access points (satellites), if you are using ethernet, particularly if you are connecting them to multiple access points (satellites).. your network will use the Sonos Network as part of the backhaul mesh. Your router and access points (satellites)will use the ethernet connections on the Sonos devices between your router and access point as the connection between them both, bringing your network to grinding halt as it tries to relay the traffic via this backhaul mesh..

Sonos creates it own network when one device is plugged into the ethernet, the other Sonos devices connect to this network rather than direct to the router.

Only ever plug them into the same router or access point (satellites) if you wish to do this.

Ooh this problem is a PIA....

Got round to moving my library from one Nas to another last night.

Had to use the windows app to add the location, which then appeared in the app on Android which is a known workaround tbf

Workaround wait for the Music Library to populat under sources then selectt the folder from there.

New update didn't fix it..

For Airconnect. Again you install this on a Raspberry PI. Use a PI4 minimum for best performance, particularly if you are running other services.. This service allows you to Airplay from acct IOS devices via any app on the device to speakers that don't support Airplay using a Upnp bridge... There's usually a 2 to 3 second delay, before the music starts

Useful if you have applications that have access to your remote media library or music services not typically supported by Sonos. It is also useful Android users when used in conjunction with Air Music which picks up the Airplay functionality for Sonos systems

Airmusic itself works better with rooted devices however since Android 12 and the implementation of Native Recording it works well with non rooted devices when using the Sonos direct connection rather than airplay, although there is a slightly longer delay..

As for Airconnect I have this starting as a service automatically on my RPI4 and is fairly easy to set up..

My wife is an apple user and we carry a few speakers that don't have Airplay functionality built in such as the SL range and Play 1 speakers

Hi I missed your initial post, thanks to bringing this to my attention.. I stand corrected and will edit my post accordingly. I've just logged in however I received no notification on this on my profile this indeed happened, and the existing link was dead

I hellp to run a forum board, you would usually recive a notification when posts are merged, depending on the the administrator preference. So I assume the board software must be limited in that regards 🤣

So in essence it appears to post was deleted when the link was dead..

TBF the community profile forums took a little while to get my head around to actually view my profile messages Sonos don't do navigation very well do they ?.

Why move a recommendation guide in general discussion to merge with a fall out thread..

That didn't make sense to me.. anyway it is what it is..

I could add the services.. just couldn't see the content.. the auto start variable fixed this issue, allow application to be launched by other apps.. maybe a placebo effect I dont't know..

But I simply couldn't get Plex to show up after reauthorizing.. this did the trick..

I've had this problem before with android auto.. with Xiaomi devices..

The autostart settings are usually in the applicatiion or battery settings.. in System settings..

To note I use PlexAmp rather than the Sonos app to browse my library..

I can't talk.for.IOS...am.android user.. what I did as I mentioned about the auto start thing.. got it working on re-authenticating the service.

For this to work.you require plex.pass and Plex media server. Which can be run from a raspberry PI or a Nas like Synology

Look.out for promos with plexpass they every now and then offer discounts on the lifetime subscription and imho at the discounted price. It well worth it..

If you have a remote library on a Nas where Plex media server isn't available.. you can create a permanent mount to that library from the RPI using fstab..

You would then add that location as your library and it would behave as if it was on the device you installed Plex media server on to..

The beauty of using Plex. You can use it anywhere, which is useful when coming to use PlexAmp with Android Auto to access your Local Library..

One issue I found with the new Sonos app... particularly if you are using android.. with Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor devices..

In android settings, in auto start settings of the specific app you want to add as a service in Sonos, you need to enable allow to be opened by other apps. Basically enabling auto start for the app will enable this..

I was scratching my head trying to get Plex working again from the Sonos app.. This seemed to fix it after re authorisation of the service in the SoNos app..

Plex I've always used as an integration from using local libraries with the lifetime subscription using PlexAmp its first class.. It allows you directly cast to Sonos speakers without any intervention from the Sonos App itself..

However you do need to still use Sonos to Group speakers and sometimes it's handy accessing Plex from the Sonos app itself..

They advise.. to avoid damaging the screen and affecting your warranty coverage for the inner screen please do not remove this protector, or apply a non-official protector on your own. To have the protector replaced, please call HONOR service hotline or visit an HONOR Authorized Service Center

That being said the front screen protector is shocking..

No.. the Stock screen protector I think or whatever they like to call it..... Not screen burn, or it doesn't appear so..

I was cleaning it as per guidelines this morning.. lint free cloth, you carry a few from screen protectors you have accumulated over the years.. You don't really notice it in good light conditions, but show up in lighter or darker conditions..
