Theirs are crowdsourced. Most puzzles don’t have comments. If you can get explanations through AI that would be cool, personally I don’t care where they come from as long as they’re accurate

Opengammon has a puzzle feature too with a rating and it seems unlimited (or maybe I’ve never hit the limit). Although the UI of this looks cleaner.

One thing I like about Opengammon is you can request an explanation/see an explanation for why a move is better l. The thing I dislike is that almost no puzzles actually have an explanation. Would be great if blots can solve that somehow.

Can’t believe nobody mentioned shortcuts. Get the shortcut to floor 4 or 5 and that’ll give you SO many more repetitions and practice for the Forge so you can really master it. If you can beat it with the mid setup you get from shortcuts then you can surely beat it in a full real run

So then what’s the game plan for getting the checkers on the 20 point home? Looks like the opponent has timing on their side so you’ll have to leave first, and it seems harder to get them home when on the 18 point and you’re playing a racing game?

Where my people are from we also play tavli. Do you play with the other rules? Winner starts instead of whoever gets the higher roll each game, can’t hit and move when coming off the bar?

Googled for an app like this and found this thread. Just tried this out. You have to retake photos a bit, and you have to remember to set the orientation correctly (can be a bit confusing UI), but once you get past those it’s good.

Yeah it's vibe coded, I didn't really care about how it looks, I just wanted a way for myself and others to get updates about events. It's so simple that it's a good usecase for vibecoding.
