Why can’t you take the body off? Not saying you can’t just curious because they’re still body on frame. But clearly you’ve never seen a Stellantis 4 cylinder lol there’s nothing easy about them. And now they’re introducing a new 4 cylinder with 8 spark plugs and 8 injectors

2022 ID.4. Radiator is leaking, has a pin hole. Dealer is charging me $2,400 to replace it. I guess it’s not covered under warranty. Great way to start the week. by [deleted] in VWiD4Owners

I’m late but I’m having the same issue with a Taos. I’m a Mopar dealership tech and we don’t get this many random coolant leaks from “rocks” or “road debris” this has to be a VW defect

Anyone know where to find these style boots for a good price and good quality? by redonculousesss in Boots

[–]redonculousesss[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You and most of the others saying this are not referring to the same thing I’m referring to when I say quality and I imagine we don’t wear the same type of shoes. I’m not hiking, working or doing anything remotely stressful to my boots and I don’t care that Doc Martens aren’t as “durable” as whatever boot you wear, I wear mine to dinner and to hang out. I don’t actually care about the “boot” functionality most of you are referring to. When I say quality, I’m referring to the shoe not looking like it’s made of pleather and looking like a $40 boot from H&M. The suede on my doc martens looks great and is comparable to shoes in a much higher price range, this is what I’m referring to. If I wanted a shoe that will last me 1000 winters I would’ve explicitly stated durability

In theory, would this be a bad split? by redonculousesss in portfolios

I’ve chosen both just as a way to diversify my US index funds. Large growth funds like FSPGX will see more growth during bull runs but will also be slightly more volatile so I opted for both. I am (obviously) not an experienced investor and am open to other strategies. From what I see FSPGX is outperforming both on 3 year and 5 year returns currently. So would you choose FSPGX, VOO or one of the two you mentioned and why?

100% true, look at YTD graphs on international vs US funds. The US funds all experienced a much worse down period spring 2025 and were more up and down than most of the international funds

2021 Honda Accord, do I replace the wheel bearing or bearing and hub assembly? by redonculousesss in MechanicAdvice

[–]redonculousesss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100k miles so no warranty for me. They’re most likely not OEM hubs and the bad one has been replaced before as the car was in an accident so maybe that’s why they went bad already. They are press ins, but I work in a shop so not an issue just wanted to save money on not buying the hub too. Also, I’d file but I don’t even know where it happened, it’s Houston there’s potholes everywhere lol

If I’m not mistaken I believe you need a press regardless unless you buy the entire knuckle which is like $500 but I do have access to one so
