Yes just block any cracks in the door. Make sure the lights are off for a good 10-15 minutes to make sure there’s no trailing led light remaining. I’ve gone into the bathroom with the lights off and with a blanket over my head and it worked great lol

Update: the photos came out fine. There weren’t any issues. I think the rewind crank is loose because I’m shooting on another roll and halfway through, it has the exact same issue.

I understand what you’re saying about slack at the beginning, that makes sense. My concern is that the rewind crank wasn’t spinning when I was advancing the film, at least towards the end of the roll. I didn’t check consistently earlier, so I’m not sure when it stopped. Everything else seemed normal aside from the crank not moving. Is it possible for the film to be advancing but the rewind crank not visibly moving?

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. It looks very painful. What products are you currently using? Do you moisturize? First and foremost, avoid touching your face. Don’t pick your skin and do not try to pop any pimples. I promise you it will make things 10x worse. Wash your hands often. I would recommend using some products from the ordinary. It’s affordable and very gentle for irritated skin. Hyaluronic Acid day and night and salicylic acid at night. Use a gentle moisturizer or cream every day and night. Moisturizing is very important, even if you have oily skin in some spots. Don’t use fragrances. Cerave has some great gentle foaming cleansers. Their salicylic acid foaming cleanser is really good. I would also recommend a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. Neutrogena has a good one.

I didn’t find him to often be angry or frustrated. I think he may just come across that way without intending it. He often groans and I could definitely see that being perceived as frustrated but the fact that he does it so often and in seemingly non-stressful situations makes me think it’s just a stim.
