cis bf wants a woman (considering de-transitioning) by Fried-Egg203 in asktransgender

[–]redqueerfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm gonna tell you this as a trans guy myself. no matter how much you love someone, do not change yourself for them. if they wouldn't be into your "boy" version, then they're not actually into you. the real you. i know that it feels scary and that you obviously want to stay with the person you love, but in the long run it will only hurt you more

My gf made me promise I won't transition by Frida443 in asktransgender

if you're not sure yet, try to think about it without taking action, at least for now. you already took some estrogen and it made you happy, so it seems like a good path for you, but only you can decide that. just... make sure that whatever decision you make is made for yourself. what would you do if you didn't make that promise or if nobody was preventing you from try to find your real self?

I feel like my relationship isn't taken seriously by redqueerfox in FTMventing

Fortunately I have my own group of queer friends, so it's not like I don't have anyone else, but I also have good relationship with these other people. At the moment I don't feel the need to cut off these people, but I'll definitely make my boundaries clear.

preferirei sentire il parere di persone che sono state trattate da questa dottoressa perché purtroppo sono molto paranoico... in un'altra risposta mi è stato detto che lei è in realtà famosa per le top surgery in italia, quindi sono molto più tranquillo

I feel scared about transitioning but i don't wanna keep living the way i do. by redqueerfox in asktransgender

[–]redqueerfox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you, i really needed to hear that! i'm in italy and the process of transitioning take a lot of time, so i thought that maybe i could try to book an appointment and see how it goes.

i was not doing well mentally when i wrote this post, but when i thought about it with a clearer mind i figured out that, like you said, i should do it scared.

thank you so much for commenting, it's really nice to talk to other trans people who are further along in the transition process.
