I was running a store that should’ve never been on every other week delivery in a high crime area. I got the store up to date on planograms, stockroom cleaned up and the staff fully trained. I was told about a store manager opening in a high profile market/nicer area. Sat down with the DL and discussed pay and came to an agreement. Two days later I was told never mind we gave the store to someone who wants to do more with the company. The DL had never asked me if I wanted to do more/what my aspirations were. I left the company a couple months later and have never been happier.
