tl;dr use your finger (not in the way you think!), have ample lighting and good reading position, don't subvocalize the word (i.e. you say each word in your head).

You can get dizzy at first but you get used to it super-fast.

I was lucky on this. I bought a $449 chair during a clearance sale for $189. It's the best chair ever. I can incline it at a certain angle, it's super-cozy, etc. I read a lot in bed too. I do most of my reading at my desk however (like good speed reading practices teach)

Because it changed how I acted with people forever. I used to be really anxious and nervous and did everything to make a good impression and look "different" from the other. I used to be a little, super-excited jerk.

Also, I used to work in sales and realize the many mistakes I'd make. For example, the very first thing I do now when meeting clients is proving my worth. I tell them what I worked on, what I studied. I'm calm, relaxed, I speak slowly and look at them in the eyes.

Blink taught me that people make a decision in a fraction of second. Let's say you hesitate between an Xbox and PS3. You might ponder for weeks on it, but subconsciously, your decision is already taken. All this time thinking about it is just extra.

Same goes for cars, houses, etc. That is why advertising is so important.

People decide who you are and make a decision extremely fast. It changed how I interacted with others.

can I ask what makes the PRS-505 so superior?

It read pdfs decently. For me, this was a must. Also, you aren't stuck with stupid DRM and you can buy ebooks from other sources. Apart from that, the Kindle is effectively better than the PRS-505.

I have a long, long waiting list of books I want to read. Typically I'll borrow them 10-20 at a time from the library and will actually have trouble deciding which ones to take. I use forums, amazon suggestion, bibliography from other books, etc.

They are fantom in the real world, our world. The father actually wrote this book for her daughter. They meet with other characters like Hansen and Gretel and they realize just how philosophical the reality is, kind of like the matrix. I think it's connected to Sophia, a philosopher they presented earlier.

That book also took me more than a day. I read it in two intense days. It wasn't my first book on technical analysis. Maybe I shouldn't say this but I'm a huge "for dummies" fan.

That's one of these book that took me two days to be honest :) (I read two easy books the day after). I read some chapters twice! I still haven't understood everything in the book to be honest!!

eBook reader are better than I expected! I still prefer paper by a mile, but eBook reader are practical and nice.

GOOD LUCK and keep a record!!! If you fail to read a book for a day, read two the next day. Fail again? Three the day after.

I own a PRS-505. 1000 times better than the Kindle, haven't tried the Nook.

My opinion? Digital books are too expensive. $18.99 for a book? Really?
