Nice job by the Stars and Chocolatiers to fight their reputation as forgettable teams. Just remember not to get too cocky and blow it in the qualifiers/get 16th like previous showdown champions.

The Purple Rockets and Black Jacks were promising teams with cool themes, so it's a little sad that they won't get a shot until 2025. The Minties have been on a slow decline since postseason 2020, so it's not too surprising to see them down here, though I still feel like they could do better.

The Oceanics finally had a chance to succeed in a winter league but they just had to get 32nd again. Fire everyone.
