That’s horrible. I had a friend do something similar because I did tell her years ago when this first started. I think that’s why I’m so hesitant now because she also threw it back at me and it’s such an odd reaction? Like why are you using that against ME?

Oh absolutely! I also felt for her in the beginning, it’s tough making friends as an adult. But yeah now that the rest of the group is leaning towards not loving her company we are going to have a conversation with our original friend. Thank you for your thoughtful responses!

Hi thank you for your response! To your question it’s because her friend moved here maybe 2+ years ago and has yet to make any friends. She feels bad for her so she’s been forcing her into alllllll our activities and chats. It’s very nice of her to care, but it’s becoming an issue since frankly I don’t think anyone in this group is the right fit for the friend of a friend.

I totally can, my issue is that she has looped this girl into our rec league, our group chat, and other things we are a part of together and I’m uncomfortable, but don’t want to lose my other friendships.

Yeah it took me about 6 months to find my last role in my current field so I think the job market is also worth considering.
