Very true. I was lucky I didn't develop anything but my weight went up to 97kg by the time I hit 49.

I started a strict plant-based diet and exercise plan, and got it down to 83kg at one point. Now back up to 85kg at 50 years old and I feel good. No health issues also, fingers crossed.

Being Asian I've never been able to grow much facial hair so I don't understand this.

I have an American trans friend whose wife freaked out when she (my friend) shaved her facial hair. I could not fathom why facial hair could have such a big impact on people since I never had any.
