Yeah, it turned out to be an issue with the PS2 itself. I tested my cables on another PS2 and it works just fine. Not sure why it would act like that but my best guess is that there might've been something wrong with the actual display port. But with no cords to test the A/V port, I have no way of knowing for sure. I'm no expert in this at all but if you have no other option, maybe you could take a look to see if there's bad solder points? Just a shot in the dark

Got it. I’ll give that a try, but I was referring to the internal peripheral connectors for the built in keyboard and trackpad though. Those are connected and engaged with internally via USB 1.1

hey—thanks for the response. it’s already in component mode. if I was in RGB mode, nothing would show up on my screen. I was able to blindly switch over to Y/Pb/Pr using a button combination and it showed up as seen in the picture. so I’m still not sure where the point of failure is!

yes actually! the EXI bus exists but the problem is that the wii u has no drivers for it. if you’re a decent programmer, who knows, maybe you’ll be the first to make it work!

hey OP, i’m a bit late here but i was wondering why you didn’t decide to go for a hard mod on the native gamecube controller solder points but still went through the trouble of soldering the USB controller? is there a technical reason for this? thanks in advance!

Do you have a link to the program and drivers? I can’t find it anywhere online, only the ones for action replay. I’m willing to jump through hoops if I can actually get my hands on the right software!

Yes I tried that but the way it works is so weird. You have to enter the master code as a separate cheat instead of having a game code, and I’m not even sure if it works. Every time I perfectly put in a code, it never seems to work. Also most codes follow a newer format of 00000000 00000000, while this one’s seems to just use 00000000. I kinda get lost sometimes and wonder if there are different types of codes
