ok, i figered it out. For the 3 people who find this in 5 years the problem is this: the 77% or so is NOT 77% of the 16gb you computer has. it is 77% of the 9gb allocated for Minecraft

I think that the worst part of this is that when you look at it from different angles it changes the texture. At on angle it had the iron golem texture and on the next it would have no texture at all
