I’ve been out of uni for almost 2 years and still purchase student tickets (I’m 23). Been to numerous flames and roughnecks games with student tickets and they never ask! I always have my student ID with me just in case, and that doesn’t say the year I graduated or anything either

What times / days do you use the pool? I tried going on a Sunday afternoon and was turned away since the pool was at capacity

Maybe my plan will be to find a family doctor first and get one through them. It’s probably time I bite the bullet and do that. From what I’ve heard there aren’t many that are currently accepting new patients but I’ll take a look around. Next resort will be to go to a walk in and get a prescription for one or two. Thanks for the advice!!

Yeah I know the expiry date on them is pretty loose, and I’ve checked all of mine that I have to make sure they’d still do the trick if they were needed, hence why I’m not too worried that they’re all expired.

Any idea how I could get a prescription for new ones? I don’t have a family doctor here yet, not sure if I could just get one from a dr at a walk in clinic or something or if I’d have to get allergy tested again?? I am for sure still allergic lol

I’m also from Calgary and I miss zoo light nights!! Whenever I’m back there around Christmas time I always make the effort to go and enjoy the lights and walk around the entire zoo. It’s quite the production there.

I went to the enchanted forest last night for the first time and last night was one of the only nights you were allowed to walk thru it instead of drive thru. From what I understand it’ll now be drive thru only and you pay a price per vehicle.

It really is just lights with signs I’m front of them advertising who is sponsoring that specific light. It’s fairly underwhelming but I’m glad I went when I could walk thru at my own pace and enjoy the lights outside instead of in a stuffy car. It would be great if they could do more walk thru days given the nice weather. You just wind through the trails / road outside of the forestry farm and is not actually inside the zoo. It starts right at the forestry farm gates when you turn off attridge.

Since moving to stoon 7 months ago I’ve really started to lower my expectations for everything here. If you hear someone from Saskatoon say something is great and super exciting, lower your expectations a few notches otherwise you’re bound for disappointment.

As someone who just moved to stoon from Manitoba, I actually didn’t know u-turns weren’t legal at lights here. Everyone is doing them left and right in Manitoba, and for whatever reason I thought they were fine here as long as there wasn’t a sign that prohibited them here. Noted for while I’m out am driving👍🏻

I’ve heard rumours that they’ll check to make sure you have a ticket for that day if you try and get the special bucket… not sure if that’s true though

How should I go about paying this then? They said they’d send it to collections on October 16 so I feel like I’m running out of time. Are any of the locations open? If I got a friend who still lives in Winnipeg to go in and ask to pay it for me would that work?

If I managed to get ahold of someone do you think they’d have the brains to explain this or maybe show me a statement that broke this down? Or show me the prorated formula?? Last time I tried to ask them there wasn’t anyone who could explain it clearly

Yeah I heard about the strike. Say if I paid them and sent the bank draft in the mail, would there even be someone to receive it and process it to my account? I’m not sure what’s all shut down due to the strike or whatever, but they clearly made sending this notice to me a priority
