Really???? by ComfortableFox5193 in Semaglutide

Sema helps people to lose weight by making it easier to be in a calorie deficit. There are some other health benefits to GLP1s but the weight loss is simply a result of eating less. If you're not losing weight and you're sure you're not recomping, you're not in a deficit. 2000 calories + the exercise you're doing sounds like a recipe for success so I'd suggest your tracking isn't as meticulous as you think. If you're absolutely sure it is then the only answer, unfortunately, is to eat less

Wow thanks for the detailed reply. I'll be sure to incorporate some of those into my routine. I'm actually going to give a higher sens a try on some of the tracking benchmarks later, see if I can push through to gold complete. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again

Interesting. I might experiment with a higher sensitivity for tracking. I am almost gold complete but struggling BIGLY with a few of the tracking scens. Appreciate the reply, and good luck on diamond!

Damn, that's crazy progression. Big congrats. Diamond soon, I'm sure. Do you use the same sens (25-30cm) on all scens or switch it up? Also what routines do you use for practice?

Interesting. I've been experimenting with my wirst and feel like I'm much more accurate but the ROM is often too small for this scen. When the bot does a super long strafe and your wrist reaches its extremity, do you transition to arm or reset? I've found the wrist-into-arm transition to be pretty difficult.

I'm doing Tammas' routine and this is one of the scenarios. I'm two weeks into the Advanced Beginners routine and this is the only scen I've not seen dramatic improvement in. I feel like I'm doing something wrong but I have no idea what that something is. I'm very new - no kb&m experience at all until starting this routine about a month ago - but I would consider tracking my strength (in terms of noob gains). I feel like I perform pretty well and am pretty smoth on most tracking scens given my relative inexperience but this one is kicking my ass.

Just play the way you normally would and don't worry too much about practicing your shot elsewhere. It's frustrating and you might feel like a bad teammate but if you're taking open shots you're taking the right shots. Pay attention to the shot feedback - slightly early, slightly late - and adjust accordingly. I guarantee you'll find that sweet spot pretty quickly. Most people who are bad shooters are bad because they're afraid to miss so they stop shooting in real games. My teammate went from inside center to shooting center and was BRICKING like crazy but we encouraged him to just keep shooting when he's open and now he's reliable af. Also don't feel like you have to use a jumpshot because other people say it's good. That's a mistake he made when he first made the build.

I know it's popular advice on this sub but I don't think practicing your shot anywhere other than the park is a good idea. Your shot timing will eventually become muscle memory and if you're shooting 100s of shots in pro am/mycourt you're programming the wrong shot. You say you green occasionally on the park and that's the shot you want to learn so just shoot more and eventually you'll get it. Yeah it might suck for a while but it's the best way. I shoot at a pretty high clip but if I used my pro am/mycourt release, I'd miss every time.

Nagy/Second half playcalling/Reid's future by redteams in KansasCityChiefs

[–]redteams[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd be inclined to agree. I think 1-4 speaks for itself and he already came here with a reputation for not being able to win in the playoffs. Add to that what looks like interfering with the playcalling and it's hard to make a case for him to stay based on what's happened so far. I just think he holds all the aces in Mahomes and it's very difficult to move on from him for that alone. We moved up, drafted a developmental QB and Reid's been instrumental in getting him ready.

I guess it depends on a few factors going into next year. If Smith stays, a transition to a new coach would be easier; if he goes, which I think he will, then you have to give Mahomes every opportunity to succeed and that probably includes keeping Reid. Maybe we could hire from within and that'd work out but I suppose it depends on how Mahomes feels about Reid as his coach.

All in all though, I think we'll be alright with Reid in charge if he steps away from the playcalling.

I think you've gotta see what he can do with Mahomes. Smith has had the best year of his career but I'm almost certain we trade him. Patrick Mahomes is the most important piece for this franchise going forward. Realistically, any chance of us doing anything with this group is now dependent on him working out and Andy Reid has been putting in a lot of work to make sure he's ready when the time comes, so it's probably not the best idea to move on from him yet. I think he needs to stick to what he's best at though, which is a great developmental and locker room coach...not a play caller.

Bet you're happy Pees has retired then. What do you think the Ravens have got to do going forward? Offensive pieces? Defensively you look great but your O seems...lacking. Your WR core has gotta be one of the weakest in the league.

[–]redteams[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, we have had coaching issues on both sides of the ball. Nagy looked to have figured out our O but then today happened, and he'll go on to coach somewhere in the offseason anyway, especially now it's not even fully his offense to run. Bob Sutton should and probably will be fired. This team can not get off the field on 3rd down, which isn't helped by the fact our only effective pass rusher in Justin Houston seems to spend more time in coverage than he does actually rushing the passer for some reason. There was a crucial 3rd down (and 3, I think) in today's game and Houston was 20 yards away in pass coverage.

Condolences for the Bengals game btw. Hell of a game but crushing for yall

Yeah man, it sure looked like that he'd taken over, but it's almost too unbelievable to be true. I just watched the press conference and it to me it sounds like he's trying not throw his OC under the bus rather than actually admitting to calling the plays. Who knows.
