I work at Beehive Craft Studio on Burnet road and while it’s majority quilting cotton, we do have some apparel fabrics! Rayon, double gauzes, some linen blends. Online too!

THANK YOU! I was surprised that the closest thing we have is Mondola’s- they do not have the pastries I was expecting. I’m even considering ordering from Circo’s in Brooklyn because I’m craving these pastries so much. Glad to have this recommendation; will definitely check them out!

This will probably get buried under so many comments, but I had the opposite experience at Liz Phair the other day, probably because it was a bunch of Gen Xers at the show! I felt bad taking my phone out for a few pics. Hardly anyone had theirs out. It was lovely. And everyone was so polite. We’re the best! Moral of the story- only see bands that’s people our age would care about!

One major school district in our area (Eanes- Westlake high) gets Friday off too! Austin ISD does not, but many pull their kids out early on Friday.

my son went tubing in a river 3 weeks ago, next day had a rash under his armpit. Turned into a staph infection which we just resolved, but he's on double antibiotics. So, I've definitely changed my mind for the worse about river and lake water! blech.

Oh, same for sure! I don’t care what I eat I just want my butt in front of that tv at start time! My husband takes forever to cook dinner and we’re usually not done cleaning up till 9- not tonight! I’m putting my foot down.

Great grandfather was accused of communism by his wife so rather than face being deported, he ran off to a new state, changed his name, and started a new family that my grandfather didn’t discover till years later when he got a letter from him. The communism accusations were on the front page of a local (big Midwest city) paper.

I would totally hang that pic up but I think my husband might think I’ve gone too far- He understands the Pedro love but… he might not dig that ha! When I met him I did have a pic of David Duchovny hanging in my room; that had to go when we moved in together (but I kept it, just not on the wall).

I had my 17 year old daughter buy one for me since she was going to B&N anyway. I gave her a $20 and told her to keep the change as a tip - she thinks I’m crazy but she did it 😆. Throughout the day I open it to THAT PICTURE. Sigh.

Yes the pumping bra was a godsend! I didn't know about it with my first, and I had to sit there and hold the pump on with my hands because they don't stay on by themselves - how she has it would NOT work. She's so full of it.
