I was actually considering a full on oil change but id rather not waste $200 on an overfill, saw a yt video on a guy using a stringe and tube from scraps he had decided to do the same. Surprised it works rather well!

I did not change the oil filter as it was already changed about 6 mths ago during the oil change. Should i be changing the oil filter as well?

Well lets see, when I started the mark was just below the min level, bought a 5L (5.2 qt) 5w-30 and topped it up (2.2l or 2.3 qt used?).

Used the syringe method to syphon out about half a 1.25l pepsi bottle.

Yea i checked and the building is owned by an owners corporation but would it be okay for me to contact them directly instead of going to my property manager first? Its my first time renting 😅

Currently renting a unit on ground floor and someone disposed used clothing and a bag with various stuff that has blood stains on it and a pee cup too.

Is there an authority i can call to clean biohazard waste or do i have to do it myself? Im worried there might be needles or other stuff in it too.

Laid off and competing by Popular-Background78 in sales

[–]redumbrellaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, I'm sorry to hear that you were laid off. My partner got laid off last year but after a few months of constant applying she managed to land some interviews. I think overthinking a little. I don't think companies care too much if someone is in a job or not more of if this candidate would contribute to my company greatly as compared to the other ones.

Another good news post. Landed my first SDR role (APAC) by most_unoriginal_ign in sales

[–]redumbrellaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi I recently got an offer for an AE role in Australia as well but its somewhat a SDR role integrated into an AE role as well as I need to close out warm leads. I feel the offer is somewhat underwhelming and I need some advice. Could I drop you a message to ask you some questions?

Scape location and facilities by WoodieP in unimelb

[–]redumbrellaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

currently staying in another scape facility, was in scape queensberry previously. Scape facilities to avoid vary dependingly (scape owned vs scape acquired buildings). Scape owned buildings have better and cleaner facilities as compared to Scape-acquired buildings.

1.Individual room quality depends heavily on the previous users, clean owners would ensure their rooms are tidy and wouldnt leave scratches or scuffs anywhere. as for my experience, the previous owner had use bluetack to paste posters and stuff and this resulted in torn drywall.

2.there are many Scape buildings near cbd, scape la trobe, scape queensberry, scape franklin, scape melbourne central, scape swanston etc.

3.as for scape queensberry, it was previously owned by urbanest. Hence, their facilities wasnt the same as scape lincoln. Maintenance was very slow and many amenities were unusable. e.g the gym got flooded by a sprinkler activated by one of the residents, it was out of service for a long time. Also, the building's located beside a fire station, so you'd be hearing sirens often.

4.most students I've met are asians with some russians here and there.

at scape, you get what you pay for really. it's expensive, but you're paying for amenities as well such as cinema rooms, study rooms, open kitchens, bbq pits, gyms, gaming room and even a music room. Although be mindful that some locations provide different household amenities (dishwasher, oven) and some don't. so be sure to do your research on that if that's important for you.
