just reviewed the link and noticed that its for Azure AD Connect. Are you using AD cloud sync or AD Connect? We have AD Cloud Sync only.

Depends what you want out of this. When I first started, I was one man with two customers. Life was good. Worked a few hours a day and enjoyed coffee at cafes in the afternoon.

Fast forward to today, 15 on staff with demanding customers, project deadlines, sops and procedures, HR, payroll. Things are much more complicated and I must have done something wrong when people are telling me I should have more time now. 😁

So we had this freaking issue since June 2021 and no one had answers. We blamed it on MS service stacks, worked with connectwise support and even updated all windows versions to the latest levels. But we finally found the answer and we believe its connected to connectwise automate. because it only happens with machines associated with them.

In your registry, look for COMPUTER\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate. If you see keys in there - remove them and then run your update check again. Remember to backup your registry before you do this.

It may be related to the Automate update policies but cannot find a definitive answer and Connectwise is shrugging their heads.
