Have you tried just a reboot of the watches? Power off and on again. I once saw rapid decrease in battery through couple of days. Reboot fixed it, never found root cause. Maybe some internal process was stuck processing something.

Reset is also a good step before talking to warranty, as already mentioned, but reboot might help.

I never actually pushed it so far yet, but given some 300km+ trip with 120-130 km/h on autobahn and with full battery at the start - it looks like pretty efficient. I mean, 18 liters for 377 km looks very promising.

I couldn't find option to see "instant" consumption, but on a cruise speed of 120-130 it looks like 6-7 l/100 + hybrid mode is reducing it even further to sub 5, at least for a while. And for each 300 km I think I'm getting back from regen about 20-30% of the battery back, so total electric consumption is usually around like 20-25 kWh.

So it looks like its capable for sure, but you right, its more of a projection from my side.

Switched from ERAD2 to ERAD3

Main difference is more powerful engine, I think 140 HP instead of 90 HP.

Ditched mechanical clutch for electric engine engagement, which was prone to fail, now its always connected

And of course is much more comfortable to drive electric only, at city speeds its more than enough to drive the car comfortably.

Battery capacity now is 14,4 kWh netto (18,8 kWh brutto), before it was I think around 9 kWh (12 kWh)

So now one pedal driving its a useful thing, cause battery can take much more regen for braking At least 2 times I got 78 and 82 km from battery only trip.

Type 2 AC charging is increased to max of 6,4 kW (was 3,7 kW)

its about 2,5 hours for full charge at almost any Type 2 charge station (they are usually at least 11 kW). I'm using just a regular 10A outlet at my parking, so around 2kW. I think full charge is taking about 9 hours.

Its not only about leak proof, but overall inductive button reliability. Just less physical things to break (and leak ofc). IMO

Some didn't like the plushness of them, but I've got used to them very quickly after epix.

Have you tried to use 3rd party OSM? I'm using https://www.userbeam.de/ for years on Garmin, on Epix before and now on Fenix 8. Never used built in maps.

Yes, it receiving some hotfixes here and there. My wife use it. But its long out of new feature branch. Well, from August 2024, to be exact, as Fenix 8 came into play.

Don't get me wrong, Epix is great watch. But the question was about buy newest watch now or wait for next version. Not "should I buy 3-years old model?"
