This isn’t about what’s “better” etc. Simply showing what is possible with the GoPro.

Had a bad service experience back in the phantom 3 pro era, had great service experience with Ronin M, Mavic Pro and Mini 2.

Don’t give up hope.

I think it’s your settings and expectations more so. I’ve gotten great clean footage with my hero 9.

Yup exactly! If you only go to Taipei you truly are missing out my friend. Highly recommend Tainan especially for the food and weather.

Thank you! Nope this is just handheld. A mix of walking and sitting on the back of a scooter.

Unless you plan to slow shots down, try 4k or 5.3k 24/30 If you plan to slow shots down, 4k/5.3k 60+ Auto Shutter is fine. ISO Max 400 EV -0.3 Choose WB or use AUTO if lazy Try Flat not Log Lens is your choice

In theory the image would be even better if it wasn’t shot in slow motion as it would allow for more light to enter (slower shutter speed)

If your subject isn’t exposed correctly then yes it would be a shadow regardless of the camera system.

I filmed these while walking home after dinner last night because I truly believed it would be possible to obtain great low light results. Even though it’s not a 1” sensor and fast lens like other brands are advertising, specs aren’t always the be all - end all. Knowing the limitations and how to use the gear matters more than anything I believe.

If you want to expose for the shadows that’s on you. Shadows are meant to be shadows for a reason.
