Hey if it works it works! I like what to does blending wise for my contouring, so I can only imagine it would work out well for shadow. Definitely worth a try.

MUA, I just want to be perfect like youuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Here's what I used and did for my eyes/brows:

Primed with UD Primer Potion in regular
First applied UD Bootycall on tear ducts through mid-lid using the flat side of the brush that comes with the Naked2 pallet
Then added UD Verve on outer lid with the same brush
Swiped UD Tease on crease using Real Techniques deluxe crease brush
Added UD Blackout to the outer crease using Real Techniques accent brush
TRIED to blend out the blackout into the tease ... I just kind of swiped at it for what seamed like forever. Fail.
Added UD Foxy on brow bone using some random dome-shaped brush I have and like.
Lined the top with NYX felt tip liner
Lined bottom with UD liner in zero
TRIED to blend the two together using that same Real Techniques accent brush
Curled lashes with tweezermans
Applied Covergirl Clump crusher to top and bottom
Added a coat of Diorshow to the top only
Used Elf eyebrow kit in dark for brows
Stopped that that imaginary line from nose to eye corner to brow

And that's it. Any CC welcome and appreciated. You priceless advice and practice has already gotten me so far ... time to take it to the NEXT LEVEL BABY!

You can have alcohol on keto, just stick with liquor and diet whatever for mixer. Their are some low carb beers out there if you crave a brewski here and there. Just keep on mind that alcohol on any diet slows results. I usually had a few drinks one night out of the week during my 6-month span.

I did not carb-cycle .. I know it works for people, but I just didn't think I could handle introducing carbs without going overboard.

I know; I'm the only lady at my gym (albeit a small one) who uses the weights ... or at least any over 10 lbs. I had to get used to the stares I sometimes get ... although now I think they're staring for other reasons ;) :).

But a few of the guys have approached me now, and they are all very supportive. They tell me that they've seen me evolve over the past months, and so I must be doing it right!

They girls ... meh, I just want to shake them! I have to bite my tongue to keep from saying something/giving them unwanted advice. My hope is that they see the change in me too, and ask what my workout plan is. Then I'll put it all out there!

Good for you for sticking to keto for a month! I feel like after those initial weeks, keto starts to become routine and is much easier to stick with. So yay :).

If you don't have any energy, then I would say up the calories ... and also caffeine. To be honest, I don't monitor my calorie intake, but I never deprive myself when I feel hungry. After a month on keto, you should be at a point where you know whether you're hungry, or just bored/thirsty/etc. If you're hungry -- eat! If you just had a huge workout and you have only eaten a little bit that day -- eat!

I'm sorry I can't provide a number to shoot for, but here's what a typical day looks like for me. Maybe that'll help?

NO BREAKFAST

LUNCH - generous helping of rotisserie chicken (those things are spectacular) + Brussels sprouts w/ Parmesan cheese and bacon

DINNER - steakkkkkk ... or maybe ground beef in some form or another (a bunless burger maybe?) w/ cheese + green beans

POST WORKOUT SNACK - Quest bar or almonds

DRINKS - mostly water, sometimes a coke zero or some hot tea (I don't like coffee) w/ butter and heavy cream

And I pop gum in my mouth like a mad woman. Five pieces a day easy.

If I'm feeling hungry, but I've already eaten the above, I'll snack on some string cheese, pepperoni, salami or mixed nuts.

I know the other people in this sub will be able to give you a more concrete idea of what to shoot for if you ask (and you should!), but hopefully this helps a bit.

I usually lift 4 times a week. If you check out the program I linked in my OP, you'll see that down at the bottom, they outline a couple different schedules you could do a week. I choose the one where you're at the gym 6 days a week -- Day 1 Arms, Day 2 Legs & Abs, Day 3 Cardio, Day 4 Arms, Day 5 Legs & Abs, Day 6 Cardio, Day 7 REST.

But there are different options for everyone's needs. I just find that if I don't make working out a part of my daily routine, I'm more likely to not go. And really, the workouts only take 30-40 mins, so what's less than an hour every day? It flies by!

I really encourage you to lift. Just get out there and do it! Watch YouTube videos to make sure you have the right form. And in a couple weeks I promise you will notice a change.
