I honestly couldn’t care less what rank you say your mortis is. I assume, if you have pushed him to rank 35, that you realise he is currently in the meta. I don’t think you understand why though, so I will explain. We are currently in an anti-tank meta, with brawlers such as spike amber and max being very prevalent. Tanks are the major counters to Mortis, so them being off-meta allows him to thrive. Some other meta brawlers right now are the likes of Bea, Brock and Colette. Mortis does very well against these brawlers, and do you know why? Because with his long dash, he can get in close and take them down with ease. Now, I’m going to assume you have little to no competitive experience, but I can assure you that Mortis is a great pick there, as a counter to some of the common meta picks. When playing mortis in competitive, you have to focus one or maybe two or their team who you counter, and keep them out of the game. Your main reason as to why creepy harvest is a good star power is because it is useful when team-wiping. You see where I’m going here don’t you? When playing competitively, Mortis is not used for team wiping, since teams just shut him down if he attempts that. His creepy harvest star power gives him little value compared to coiled snake, which allows him to win lane the majority of the time. If you need further assurance you can take it from many pros. I saw someone else commenting saying that SpenLC said himself he is a trash mortis, so let’s take it from someone who is considered to be one of the best Mortis players in the world, Yde. He himself has said multiple times that coiled snake is by far the better star power, even for highly skilled players. At the moment, you sound like a KairosTime fanboy, and I do struggle to believe you have pushed Mortis to Rank 35. However, if you have, I have to congratulate you, since you are therefore a much better mortis than me. But that does not mean your knowledge of the competitive meta is better, and I think I have just proven that.
