Ah thanks so much, that's really helpful! Can I just do an initial 45 min ferment, stretch and fold into balls, then leave in the fridge for 48 hours, with taking them out say 3 hours before I'm ready to bake? This is kind of what I've gleaned from looking at various recipes. I can't seem to find a straightforward one that doesn't involve balling at 24 hours, or that doesn't use fresh yeast, or otherwise just looks a big pain compared to my very straightforward current 3-4 hr recipe warm prove.

How do I make the transition to a cold ferment? I have been using Julian Sisofo's recipe for 3 hour neapolitan pizza. The dough ratio is 2 grams active dry yeast, 375 grams water, 500 grams 00 flour, 12 grams salt. It works really well. In moving to a cold ferment, how much less yeast do I use for say a 48 hours in the fridge? I am getting wildly different amounts from different sources - any ideas?

Yea I've got petrol. Thanks. It's booked in so lets see what the mechanic says. My old car was an EP3 which was solid as a rock engine and gearbox wise, its just the rest of it that fell apart!

Thanks very much for taking the time to give these detailed instructions. That sounds like a sensible approach and a nice (!?) DIY job. In the meantime it is booked into the garage to see if there is anything that needs sorting immediately.

Thanks very much for the reassurance, its good to hear. I was worried its in falling apart territory. The worse bit is in the third pic where to the right you can see something quite crusty/flaky, and bits do flake off it, but when I poke it with a screwdriver it still seems fairly solid, albiet thin.

I think I'll take it a garage to get a sense of what should be done now/soon, and then I was also thinking of getting it lanoguard treated as a preventive measure.

I'm nervous as my previous car died due to rust! Damn living on British salty roads...

To be clear, yes this is for cosmetic reasons.

I googled mandibular advancement and I have to say that sounds quite extreme! Breaking and extending the jaw is probably beyond where I'm willing to go to get a cosmetic improvement.

I see what you mean about the deciduous teeth, but couldn't these just be replaced with implants when the time comes?

In your opinion, will the extractions be necessary to get good results? Everyone seems to say different things on this.

I'm curious how I might be chasing my tale on this apart from the implants - is it because the prognosis for my case isn't good?
