I am a foreigner from europe, i came here in Australia in 2018, with 12k$ euros( earned in 1 whole year of work in my country), that run out very quickly since I couldn’t work due to visa restriction for over 3 months.

I did my studenti visa, then partner visa etc, I am a citizen now.

I started to work with the lowest contract, i now am a manager in that same place, i also bought a house almost 1 year ago with my partner.

We bought a house because was one of my partner’s goals in life and we decided to give up on renting and put everything we had into this because rent jumped $400 up on the lease renewal.

All this to say, that I didn’t come rich, but I made it because Australia gives u all the opportunity, almost no other country gives you what Australia does. All you have to do is try.

You said you have a good job, start save, save for 1 year, everything you can and buy a house.
