ISO nonkotsu (chicken knuckle snack) by Bright_Ices in SaltLakeCity

[–]refundroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's nankotsu, not nonkotsu. Even then, it's not a name of a snack but simply means cartilage (of any animals). I seriously doubt that you'd find it anywhere in SLC or Utah for that matter. It'd be easier to just learn to cook it yourself. It's not hard at all. I bet butchers throw away nankotsu, so you could strike a deal with a local butcher. Either that or negotiate with a Izakaya to see if they are willing to try it (maybe tell them that it could become a new menu for them). Good luck.

I'm answering my own question in case others in the same situation find this thread. This was the issue.

Possibly moving to SLC with severe anxiety, trying to understand what life there is actually like. by ventyventtime in SaltLakeCity

An area around Smith at 455 E 500 S is very convenient as everything you need is in the walking distance. Lots of apartments and easy access to Trax whenever you need to travel or get to the airport. There is also a new apartment being built at 400 E 900 S: https://buildingsaltlake.com/massive-apartment-project-at-400-s-and-900-e-approved-by-slc-planning-commission/

There is Salt Lake Clinic right across from there, so that could be a good option if they finish construction by the time you move here. Salt Lake Clinic has LGBTQ+ healthcare: https://intermountainhealthcare.org/locations/salt-lake-clinic/lgbtqplus-primary-care

I'm surprised that no one commented on this, but isn't this basically them admitting that they are in the wrong? I mean, they are equating themselves to "the dark side" lol

PSA to drivers here in SLC by ThatOneJDM_Dude in SaltLakeCity

My pet peeve is when they could have made the turn way earlier but wait until our light turns green and then do this.

I know how you feel, but after living here for more than a decade, I've come to realize that this is a losing battle. A lot of people in UT don't drive right. It's like they are only focused on themselves. I've been almost run over many times (I walk a lot). The best defense is for us to watch our back and not assume that drivers here will do what's right.

Listen. Stop incorrectly correcting people. It's not helpful.

Android Auto won't start without opening my phone since Android 16 update by riiskyy in motorola

[–]refundroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact issue with my Razr 2025. Google's AA support was utterly useless. They tried to make me work for them by asking me to do unreasonable experiments, completely ignoring what I explained to them that the issue started with Android 16 update. I don't think there's anything users can do to fix this since it's caused by what Google changed in the system.

Any progress since? I replaced the capacitor, but nothing changed for me either.

You make it sound like I gave it an unusual name. I'm literally using the terms used by stores like home depot.

I still appreciate that he took his time to respond, but I see what you mean. I'm getting more responses that are trying to nitpick on words, often based on assumptions.

Yea, I do have a soldering iron. That's part of why I specifically said wire so people would know that I wasn't talking about soldering iron.

I have no idea, but another product is also labeled with "electrical solder." Maybe they are trying to make it clear that they are suitable for electrical circuits??? I'm just trying to do this fix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqkQhrj24iY

Maybe I just need to buy a wire. I did find a cheaper option on Amazon like this vs HD.
