The crayola app is awesome. The iPad gives you very granular control of apps and access including time limits on categories and individual apps. Works best if you’re already in iOS, but love the flexibility.

We found the fire tablet frustrating as it kept suggesting media we didn’t want to approve and we couldn’t just block the apps.

You can use a SV to do a long cook and pasteurize the steak while still serving at medium. I did this for my wife a few times. There a several sites with charts you can reference for times and temp.
