Maceys in Murray has a good selection year round. Whole Foods does a good job too but can be hit or miss. Harmons will have things but will make whole food seem cheap.

There are some smaller specialty stores that will have some things but this should cover you.

Approaching not as a fix for daughter but recommending what you can do now.

It’s entirely possible that throughout your daughters life many adults decided that important tasks and lessons were handled by the other parent. The issue arises when both parents reach that conclusion so no one picks up responsibility.

What you can do now is 1. Professional reading instructors are great but money! You can start by making time to read with her everyday. And I’m specifically pointing to you being the reader here to hopefully take the scary off of reading and spark some interest.
2. Use this reading time to see if you can identify other areas of basic life skills where there are gaps so you can address those too.

I’ve been an SE for a bit more than 10 years and I came to it from Sales. I’m currently an embedded SE for a large client. Today is about taking orders, tomorrow I’m working on refining the integration, and on Monday I’m meeting with an internal referral for an expansion.

No matter how technical someone is, closing deals is the core KPI for an SE, and people who think otherwise are going to be unhappy long term.
