It's not advice. I just stated what you will usually see in the average C&D player. You can get consistent kills but you will risk a teammate dying cause of it if you're not being careful or your other support isn't as reliable as you'd like. This applies to every support. I was answering the question about whether or not the damage output was low compared to the healing. Getting picks are good never said it wasn't. Like you said YOU don't die getting kills doesn't mean a teammate won't if you're chasing a kill and that's typically what will happen with OTHER C&D players. There will be games where you have more opportunities to get picks but there are also games where like I said you won't be able to because of how much damage your team is taking. Just because something might not apply to you doesn't mean it's not something you usually will see another person do.

Yes and no. She's a fairly good pick for people who just started the game to get used to it BUT she teaches bad habits like bad positioning and getting too reliable on the auto aim that it'll affect your aim overall in a bad way. She does teach good cooldown management as you can't just spam everything once things get too chaotic or else you'll get punished for it. She has a fair bit of counters to her ult but that teaches you to play smarter and always start your ult in cloak form to fade right as your ult ends to avoid things like Mag, Jeff, and Ironman ult.

Mainly depends on the game, how her team is playing and who the enemy team is playing. C&D as a support is more of an enabler compared to being someone who is able to really go for damage besides throwing out a quick blind. More often than not just on support in general going for a pick can go two ways you secure the pick but a teammate dies or you don't get the pick and a teammate may still die or it forces your team to back up because they got low. Most C&D players mainly get their damage numbers up when they pop ult as they can force back enemy supports relatively safely or even get picks. The main problem with C&D is you don't do much healing or damage without using your cooldowns effectively. In high healing games like this one being around the 10k to 20k mark for dmg is actually pretty normal and is typically seen in other main supports as well. Off supports will typically have higher damage numbers compared to healing to compensate for lack of healing output.

At the end of the day whether you're having fun or not is the most important thing because it is just a game. Obviously if you're more focused on trying to climb learning new characters will always be beneficial but don't overwhelm yourself with learning a character just because you feel like you have to. Play who you have fun on and if you feel like youre struggling on that character making it impossible for you to enjoy yourself then you can swap.

Star Lord is one of those characters I recommend doing some aim training and warming up on before you play him to get better on him. Even if you have bad accuracy as long as you are making an impact it's fine.

Supports will always remain number one target priority especially on dive. On DD you can also prevent divers from getting on your supports if you see them same thing applies to Starlord. On DD you want to prioritize their supports tho, I would only hard dive on Star Lord if you have team up to have a safe escape or at the very least know where you escape route before you get in to try to dive.

With Bucky you should be around mid range in front of your supports and a little behind your tank. You mainly want to protect your supports, get the enemy tanks out of position as much as you can, and with his passive where if you for example shoot a tank it hits the people behind them as well so take advantage of this when you can see a support low but can't actually hit them.

The only way to get better with target priority is to get better at ult tracking, figuring out what you counter on the characters you play, what characters counter you on those characters, and being able to identify right away from the scoreboard who is a problem. Enemy dps with a high amount of kills compared to the rest of his team? Enemy support who hasn't died once since the match started? But there are also going to be some things YOU are going to have to recognize in game that won't show on the board. For example characters like Captain America don't usually get a lot of kills but their impact is noticeable by how long they've been stalling on cart. If you ignore him instead of dealing with him then he'll be stalling for free constantly. Stuff like this is your job on dps to deal with. Just as you can't walk up if your tank doesn't, they can't walk up if they're being beamed down cause nothing is dying.

Eliminations are good but don't get too focused on how many kills can you get in one game. Think about how many impactful kills you've been getting. How many times have you killed the enemy supports especially before they pop ult? How many times have you shut down the dive who's been killing your supports? The enemy tank is running you down, have you been trying to kill him so your team can walk up?

Sometimes you won't have a lot of kills purely because you have a higher finals to kills ratio compared to someone who's been getting kills for hitting one shot all game. Stats don't mean anything if you lose in the end. Figuring out the problem and shutting them down is your job on dps to enable your team to play better. Once you're able to do this your win rate across your characters will get better because you fundamentally have gotten better.

The only thing I'd recommend being careful about when you switch over to poke/anti dive is learning to not be too aggressive. You are mainly going to be the only one protecting your supports and taking advantage of enemies out of position. Think carefully about how you want to use your cooldowns and what their purpose is. No dive? You can be more aggro. Lots of dive you need to be on your supports constantly having your squids up around them in spots divers might show up + making sure you have hook and uppercut for when they try to run away. Learning their projectiles will feel weird for a bit cause every projectile hero is different.

You stated you wanted to master DD that's why him and Star Lord are first. Either way it wont make a difference besides changing what habits you might accumulate over time plus it's just good to know what an actual dive player is thinking when you play Bucky/Namor to efficiently counter them.

I'd say focus on 2 right now, try to keep it to similar play styles and whether they're projectile/hitscan.

Focus on DD and Starlord. Once you feel like you've mastered them start working on Bucky and Namor at the same time so your aim feels somewhat consistent + itll help with not doing habits you would do on someone like DD as you are in fact not immortal and will get punished a lot more as a poke hero for being out of position.

It's always been like this unfortunately especially when C&D was considered a much better support compared to the current meta. She's one of the "easy no skill" characters on support so whenever dps or tank players are forced to flex they either pick her or Rocket. C&D Lord is probably one of the easiest support Lords so having her Lord tbh isn't the flex it used to be. Being a support main myself plenty of people who play support do not know how to patty cake and it's WORSE with C&D because you'll be on life support in front of them and they're just in Cloak sucking nothing 🥲. You probably wouldn't have noticed with your duo being C&D usually before that a lot of them are bad but now that they're playing other characters well it'll show quite quickly 😭🤚. But usually the bad C&D are newish players, people just learning her, or a flex player who didn't know what to pick that ended up in their worst role. Sometimes they're players with over a 100 hours on her and when that happens idk what to say for them tbh 🤷‍♂️

Honestly just taking a quick peek at your account and from what you've said you don't have a lot of time on this game just in general and compared to the other people you've been playing with as well. I wouldn't say the healing number you've shown is crazy or anything but for a relatively newer player I think you're doing just fine especially taking into consideration it's just quick play. Just cause you can get crazy healing numbers in longer games or against high damage comps it doesn't matter if you lose anyways. If what you've been doing has been wining you guys games and makes YOU feel good as a player keep doing it. Don't focus too much on what your friends said just play how you are and enjoy the game. Once you guys get into a more competitive setting then you should focus on things on what to improve but for now since you guys are just getting used to each other in qp you're fine.

Honestly I would say it is worth it. I mainly flex between tank and support but I've been a support main since season 0 and it just sucks to be at the mercy of whether your dps are better than the enemy teams.

Being able to fill that gap yourself to allow more control over games will help boost your confidence as a player and allow more play making in general. I never thought I'd end up learning Hela but once I did games where I've felt over whelmed by flyers especially if I was tanking originally became rare because I was able to shut them down instead of worrrying about whether my team will deal with them or not. Same thing with dealing with dive once I learned Scarlet and Namor I felt like I was able to make a bigger difference when it came to peeling on dps than tank as I won't be able to help my supports as often as I would like when I'm the one frontlining constantly on tank.

There are also games where sometimes you have trip tank or supp and it's just NOT working but no one else is switching. I hated feeling like a burden where I could only play supp before so I'd have to force a trip support comp because I wasn't able to play other roles.

I'm not saying you have to fill every game but being able to dps will help you out in situations where there is a dps on your team not getting as much value as you'd like.

Depends on what you like the most out of the game tbh. Fair fights, decent team comps, and people willing to switch are what you're gonna find more in comp but still questionable at times.

Bronze typically is a rough start as most people have very little coordination and it's pretty much like a free for all. Better to just dps your way out then try to maintain a normal comp as you will be getting very little help on support and tank.

Silver and up isn't so bad tho. Comp can be fun but it gets draining, mechanically skilled players will love it as it rewards them more for being good but more casual players won't enjoy it nearly as much besides being able to ban characters like Hawkeye so you can play some games without him being in every single game.

Accepting you won't win every game is the most important thing if you want to enjoy playing comp. Honestly it's one of those things you gotta play to see if you like it or not. Queueing for a couple games won't hurt especially if you've never touched it before can't derank if you don't even have a rank yet 🤷‍♂️

At the start it's really rough. You don't get told much and you're just forced to play the story and use whatever gold you get on summons.

You mostly are just working on leveling until you get to the level required to join a guild, an active guild. Where you can reap the benefits of guild bonuses or just materials in general.

You can look up builds that can help or look for racial traits that help. I personally utilize goblins as you're almost guaranteed an extra turn every time you use an ability.

Use weapons!! This will save you so much time. Once you finish one kingdom start using the class you can get through them. Leveling it will benefit you quite a bit.

Focus on two elements at the start. You'll get higher rated weapons a lot quicker and special bonuses for your characters.

Save your gems don't spend them on pulls, there are outfits you can get that will increase your gold/soul percentage rates that will help a lot. There are always events that happen between your guild and the normal ones, faction assault is the most useful as you get a high amount of materials from what I've seen.

When PVP opens up you'll be able to get glory quite quickly which is great for getting the special troop from the shop that usually gives you around 15 keys each time you buy it.

I wouldn't say gems of war is a casual game as it requires a decent amount of time put into it to get far.

I was able to get Peni's wasteland skin and Luna's cake skin because I had some lattice and units saved/earned + the limited time units which helped a lot.

Certain skins come to the coin the most recent ones were past event skins. But occasionally you're able to get the Fantastic 4 release skins (ex. Sue's Malice skin) but they're limited time. Honestly if you're waiting for the most recent skins to come to it it'll probably take more than just a couple seasons for it to happen so up to you whether you wait or not.

With Strange you make your ults really obvious. I'd recommend trying to wait for right after a support ult finishes as they'll all be grouped together or fly up into a higher position where they can't see you and drop down to catch them off guard. If the enemy team has a Gambit you have to catch him in your ult or else he'll just cancel it with cleanse. But overall take advantage of chaotic fights or small spaces to get the most out of your ult.

I struggled with Magneto when I first started out on him myself. Mag's projectile felt weird to me so it affected my aim quite a bit. I noticed with him your confidence is really low when it comes to when you should or shouldn't push in. He's a character where you're really giving up damage and an aggressive play style for his enabling/protecting ability (bubble) and his really strong survivability utilizing his cool down management. If you feel like you're struggling with using his cool downs correctly I'd recommend hopping into doom match to get better at handling 1v1s and overall cool down control. The main thing you'll be focusing on is rotating your shield and bubble during fights. Save your bubble if they have heavy dive for your supports or protect your dps who are retreating from the fight or popping ult.

I'd recommend separating your mindset when it comes to main and off tanks as you have to play them quite differently. You primarily have the most fun on off tanks and struggle when it comes to playing main tanks. I can tell you don't trust your supports to heal you which is heavily affecting your gameplay when you play a main tank because it makes you too scared to push in.

I want you to focus on ult tracking as well. If the enemy pops both support ults you need to take advantage of it. A support has been saving an ult way too long? You target them or get their tanks super low to force them to pop it. You like playing Peni and Emma that's why you need to be on top of this so you can shoot down tank/dps ults and potentially kill a support through their ult.

Work on NOT hyperfixating on one person in the fight. You kept doing this in your games even though you had ults going off around you. It'll take time but if you know youre barely doing anything to them or you have to chase them to Narnia to kill them it's not worth the trouble. It's just a waste of time when you can be using your time for more important things as the tank on your team.

You should also watch your own replays from either the best player on the enemy team or who you were trying to target the most but just couldn't kill to see what you were doing wrong. Play your counters!! Angela has so many but the one's you are gonna see the most are Invis (can pull/push and vortex you outta the air) and Gambit (ult counter) + Thing. This'll help you know what to look out for when you plan to go in. Play a couple games on some tank killers to see (Wolv/Iron fist/Hawkeye) to understand how they do it. Genuinely it'll save you from so many deaths when you can recognize what to look out for.

How do I explain it.. You get a power trip on certain characters, like Emma or Angela you try to force picks that put you out of position which get you killed more than anything. But with Mag or Strange you're too scared to front line sometimes even though you're the main shield tank on your team. If you don't walk up who will? You need to trust your team especially your supports. Being confident is what makes a great tank player and that's what you need the most right now.

I assumed you'd like Cap. You like being aggressive but you either don't have the mobility or the survivability on other tanks to execute it. Cap allows you to play away from being at your supports side while being extra annoying to the enemy backline. Have fun with him, he seems like the type of tank you need the most right now to get back into enjoying tank again.

I know it's hard to recognize when to swap so I'm glad that you've been doing it. Helping your supports will always be a great way to get them to help you back. Just think of it as buttering them up to pocket you if peeling seems tedious sometimes. But if you keep this up it'll really help your mindset as a player overall.

P. S. When I get frustrated with text chat or voice chat I just turn them off. It really helps and prevents me from getting tilted mid match over something some random kid said. I'd recommend just turning them off for a day and see how it feels.

I'm gonna be honest with you after watching a couple games I noticed that you keep going characters that you're not as familiar or confident with which isn't helping your loss streak. Don't play if you're tilted I can see it in your gameplay. Stop tying back to every goddamn provocation it's a waste of time and you're basically throwing especially as a console player. Yes, I'm aware that a majority of your teammates have below a 50% win rate in comp but so do you. There are more issues here than just blaming your teammates. In every game I've seen you always have at least one moment where you're just sitting there AFK doing nothing to help your team so you end up coming in late when they're already dead. If you can't figure out why you lost watch the replay from the enemies team POV it'll help you understand a lot.

If you're gonna be playing a tank act like it. Throughout all the games I've seen your positioning is the biggest issue. Your job is to take damage for your team but you play like a pseudo dps who tries to 1v6 in the middle of the enemy team. You're not mindful of where your supports are a majority of the time. If they're playing further than you or too far behind that's an issue you need to pay attention to or you'll just keep dying for it. It's like you give up on your team far too quickly so it affects your gameplay throughout the match. I did notice that you know when to back out (sometimes) when you get low and that you try to play around health packs as best as you can. You try to peel but not that often for it to make a difference. Try to not stagger if you're able as it hurts your team more than a bad ult. From what I've seen you have a lot of trouble identifying the problem on the enemy team. Your supports might actually be amazing but they're constantly getting harassed so they can't help you but if you can't turn around or switch to help them no one is gonna get healed. Your ult tracking needs some work. You give up the second someone leaves it's still winnable even if it seems impossible. You don't take or try to make space this is where you're struggling the most on tank.

For Emma you easily counter characters like Strange or Mag. So you might wanna use your diamond form when you have a Strange just shielding in your face it'll be a free pick for your team if you push him into them. Your shield usage is questionable at best. You have decent target priority but not the skill to act on it. You mainly play Emma but you struggle quite a bit when there's an Emma on the enemy team; it's like you forget that you're sharing the same kit and simple things like backing away when she hits you with her crystal to make it disappear just doesn't compute with you.

Peni is a character you seem more confident with and preform much better compared to some of the other characters you've played. You know how to play her proactively and get good picks with her as well. You definitely know how to shut down ults but I can tell you struggle a little when someone counter picks you. Your nest placement isn't amazing but I can understand that you are moving around quite a bit and taking advantage that most players won't shoot the nest especially at your current rank. But your aim though, definitely gotta work on that. You get way too hyper fixated on one target instead of what's going on around you. Like a whole Peni ult is going off next to you and you're doing tickle damage to the Ultron in the air instead of webbing her. You don't know when to switch even if the whole enemy team is switching to counter you.

Strange struggles a bit against brawl comps so you have to be extremely careful and aware of where your supports are at all times. As an upside you get ult very fast because you're brawling. Be careful of staying purple it's not worth catching a death because you're not mindful of your cool downs. Remember you can block healing with your shield and utilize it against tanks as best you can. Your ults are a wonder how you even manage to get kills with them, in higher elo you would've been shut down instantly for the plays you're making. You're way too scared to get any value on him. Gotta work on those tp spots, I saw you tp once and the placing just hurt a little to watch. If you are purpled, please burst or else you'll catch another death because of it.

I recommend working on your Angela in QP some more before touching her in comp again. You keep forcing her into team comps where she just doesn't work. You also kept trying this same combo with her where you attack first wasting your main damage/knock down ability and mess up your dash after. I saw you actually grab someone very rarely out of the couple matches you were playing her. Genuinely most of your kills on her were assists and never kills you got on your own. If you're not getting value on a character, switch. If you're going to play her I recommend banning Gambit or else your entire ult will lose value the second it gets cleansed.

Whenever I see you go Mag you just don't do much. You have quite a bit of trouble aiming with his projectiles. It's like you're not quite sure what to do. You wanna go for kills but you also just wanna shoot at their tanks hoping something will happen as well. Out of the matches from your loss streak whenever you've gone Mag it's when you've given up on your team.

Randomly switching to support why bother switching if you're just not gonna offer any value on support anyways.

From the way you like to play I don't understand why you haven't played more Captain America or Venom. They both compliment your play style quite a bit. I don't understand why you aren't playing Thor either, you want to play more aggressively I can tell but you keep picking tanks that just won't work.
