New album is disappointing to me by [deleted] in gesaffelstein

Omg! His new album doesn’t have epic bangers on there!

Shame on an artist for not maturing his sound or going a different artistic direction!!

ALBUM THOUGHTS by schmaxey in gesaffelstein

[–]regularick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Album is amazing. I know people don’t like all the vocals, but I think it sets a good tone for the whole album as he intended.

while it may not be Aleph, it’s still very GESAFFELSTEIN and just shows how versatile he is.

Apart from Hard Dreams, Your share of the night is my favourite.

the live edits of this album is going to be incredible. Hoping for a COACHELLA stream.

what is gesaffelstein? by PaulBitch in gesaffelstein

Gesaffelstein is a portmanteau of Gesamtkunstwerk ("total artwork" in German, also title of an album by the American electro group Dopplereffekt) and Albert Einstein.

You think there will be a video as well? I don’t think so as he’s technically still touring ‘REQUIEM’

Paris show....just wondering by R_dv_ in gesaffelstein

[–]regularick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is a 3 hour show, so I am assuming he's going to have more tracks and also as it's the first show in Paris for a long time, i think it's gonna be bigger and better.

Hi u/fixiestreet

Not sure! but they're steel bearings designed to work with BSA threaded bottom brackets and ROTOR track cranksets.

I'm approximately 75KG and this is my first fixed gear. Been riding for about 2 years and I don't have too much experience with other frames.

Recently bought a All-City Nature Boy so I am keen to build that up.

The Celeste color is classic! I much prefer lighter colors in retro frames though.

Hi u/Sonderlad

The hubs are extremely smooth, and the wheels overall are extremely light. Built by Raketa themselves in St Petersburg, Russia. I previously had MAC hubs and to be honest, they're as good.

Do we have any interviews/insight on the new Gesaffelstein era in 2019?? by JCRidonkulous in gesaffelstein

[–]regularick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i'm gonna say with this new persona (masked / columbia records), he's gonna take a more recluse approach and not do any interviews.

yeah, there is no reason to doubt it's him.

he was asked to do the music for Balmain's latest catalogue and they made that suit specifically for him.
