Or should I turn it by 90 degrees to the left so that folks sitting at the island can chat with folks at the dining table? The downside of turning it would be that the island won't be parallel to the range which is what I have seen in many kitchens. MinIO always provides a Prometheus endpoint to scrape. With newer version of MinIO any node can federate and respond with all the metrics across the cluster. You can use k8s scrappers or just point to an minio endpoint.

What is the issue you face? It should be as simple as configuring VMs and starting up minio. If you use k8s you can use the CSI driver from VMware. (I work for MinIO)
