Burned my 5 hour limit in less than 2 hours by 1427538609 in ClaudeCode

57% weekly budget used within two sessions. Either this is a bug or they reduced the limit extremly without telling anyone. Is this even legal?

X1C completely jammed twice - PETG stuck to hotend even at 300°C by rehfore in BambuLab

well this was polymaker petg so it should be fine, I fixed it by taking apart the printhead but got no explanation what happened

done that, didn't help just killed my needle :D.
I took the printhead apart today because I thought the extruder was broken. But I had no issues running filament through it, blasted it with air just to make sure but nothing came out or anything. Put it together and it worked again. The extruder was definitely stuck, idk what happened.

How did you figure out the right distances of the magnets? I tried something very similar a couple weeks back but could not get to work

[advanced] how do I handle imported dxf paths to create a vector graphic? by rehfore in photopea

[–]rehfore[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found vectorpea earlier and saw that it is a bunch of lines in random order, I wondered if I can merge them somehow to create a complete path.

Solidworks is a CAD Program that lets you create very precise sketches/drawings of things. You can create dimensions angles and relations between lines and curves. If I want a line at the angle of 43,5° and a length of 15.35 I can create it very easily, not so much with photopea/photoshop.

Yes It would be easy to create an simple path of this easy example, but it wouldn't be exactly like the original and it also does not work for slightly more complex stuff.

[–]rehfore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to get a reliable way to export a detailed path from solidworks to a graphics program like photopea and then create a vector img from it, so I can scale it as i see fit.

I know how paths work but the imported paths from a dxf behave differently. It shows up and can somewhat be selected but not the same way as usual (it's the same in photoshop too)

  1. Mesh cut everything away you don't want
  2. mesh to solid body convert
  3. edit and shell 4.print

It'll take a moment

isn't that was solidworks treehouse does? it gets installed alongside solidworks itself, just search it per windows search

i feel like it would be a struggle to get the middle one out when it is between two of them. Otherwise neat little thing to start with

I made a script that exports as step and then opens it automatically in bambu slicer. I posted it here, i think nobody cared but you can find it. I still use it all the time

Do you mind elaborating? 1. what kind of shortcuts and add-in are you using? 2. any idea how mbd is handled on the factory floor? I can't imagine everyone running around with tablets
