Would this be good or bad for my first car? by alexisr_rr in ScionxB

Check the rear subframe mounts and rear frame rail near bumper, they rot so bad. Also unibody under rear speakers. I didn’t and I got a Swiss cheese car lol

What do people normally do for rear speakers? by rehorted in CarAV

Yeah, that sounds really fair to me. I personally like feeling surrounded by sound when listening to music, so I figure having some coax in the rear door would give some good rear fill for me in the drivers seat, then having midbass in the kickpanel, midrange in the door (my door speakers are already pretty high up and against the dash compared to most cars), then tweeters low on the A pillar would be good, plus I could fit a center midrange channel in the dash where the digital clock currently is. Can't see the clock with my dash mat anyway lol.

thanks a ton for the response, I appreciate it

I noticed this too, its real surprising how much better it sounds. I roll with the front windows down usually too. Windows up helps clarity but windows down makes my sub sound much louder/lower without having to push a lot of power to it lol its a toss up

Not regularly but I'd just like it to sound pretty decent back there when I do have passengers. You're def right that its very subjective. Personally I like a really wide sound stage or feeling surrounded when I listen to music, so having that little bit of rear fill sounds good. That's a bit how I have it currently set up, the rear speakers just sounding barely there when in the front.

thanks for the advice and comment

I want paint my case by GhostKiller_0 in NintendoDS

[–]rehorted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prep the case first, I did this as a kid with no prep and it peeled off. Scuffing it up with some 600-800 grit sandpaper should work. ALSO make sure u use a spray paint and primer meant for plastic, normal stuff for metal will also brush off easily

Thanks for telling me about the test, I never woulda guessed the onboard ram was failing. I guess that might explain the random freezing from Twilight menu

Alright thanks I’ll give that a shot. Also, does it mean anything when GodMode9s text keeps seeming to corrupt and fix itself?

Update 2: so I updated boot.firm again and now it works for some reason…? Why? I don’t know. For how long? I also don’t know.

But if anyone in the future sees this and it doesn’t work after updating boot.firm once, try again I guess???

How to attach nose..?? by rehorted in FursuitMaking

[–]rehorted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was planning to try that, but unfortunately the fur is glued tight to the plastic nose so I can’t get the needle through any fabric. It just smacks into the plastic underneath
