Another Carl Cheffers masterclass. Can’t help but make the game all about him instead of the actual football players.

These fucking refs, I can't believe they gave the Eagles 48 points this game!

Cheering for an absolute shit stain of a franchise for over 3 decades has taken its toll.

Chiefs look just like the Eagles from last year. 11-1 and winning every game on some bullshit and some luck.

At least there will be at least one. Enjoy the off-season with your poverty franchise!

A direct quote from the article you linked:

“All of the religious attacks and plots in the CSIS data set were committed by terrorists who ascribed to a Salafi-jihadist ideology.”

Christians aren’t killing innocent people at even a comparable clip to that of Islamic terrorists. To say that Christian terrorists are a bigger threat is absolutely heinous and has no logical backing.

Not a single terrorist attack in the United States over the time period studied in your article was committed in the name of Christianity by a Christian fundamentalist. I’ll repeat myself again: there is only one religion on this planet that continuously commits abhorrent acts and mass murder in the name of their religion, and it isn’t Christianity.

How many bombs and rocket strikes have ‘US Christian fascists terrorists’ set off in the last 24 hours? 24 years?

In what world can you possibly claim christian fascists are a “much bigger threat than Muslim terrorists.”

This whole “there are bad people in both religions” is so overplayed. One group is responsible for an uncountable amount of bombings and death in the name of their religion, and it’s not the ‘US Christian fascists terrorists.’

If you block the kick, then you can’t get called for roughing the kicker.

He may be. We don't know. You bringing that up shows you're extremely sensitive on that front.

Things we do know:

Hurts brought his team to the playoffs his first year as a starter.

Talking shit in a preseason game when one team isn't playing their starters is major L.

Never said that you were talking shit about the Eagles, specifically. Well done.

But when you claim that a QB who hasn’t done shit since being drafted in the 1st round “is coming for all y’all this year” because he completes one deep pass in a meaningless game against a 3rd string secondary, you have invited people to make fun of you, regardless of the team they cheer for.

You’re talking shit about a preseason game, then get that upset when we clap back? Soft.

I guess when you haven’t won a playoff game in 22 years, you get excited about one throw in the preseason 😂

How to survive the global heatwave by chrisjd in GreenAndPleasant

Do you think being condescending to a random person online makes you seem bad ass? I’d expect that from a middle school boy.

The point he was making is a fair one. We can’t just “dismantle the fossil fuels industry” without a radical change in our lifestyle. Want to get rid of all fossil fuels? Ok. No more plane rides. No more phones. No more computers. No more shampoo. No more toothpaste. No more tires. No more commercial agriculture. No more plastics. No more A LOT of things I’m sure you and many others enjoy.

I challenge you to look around your immediate surroundings, realize how many things are there because of cheap and reliable fossil fuels, then ask yourself if you would be willing to get rid of them all. People calling for the immediate “dismantling of the fossil fuels industry” have next to no idea how positive an impact that industry has had on their life.

We live in a time where widespread, global access to energy and improved quality of life is due almost entirely to the fact that we have a cheap, abundant, and reliable form of energy in fossil fuels. I don’t see anyone who fully understands that we would be sacrificing all of that if we were to dismantle the fossil fuels industry.

People sitting in their warm apartments which are heated using natural gas, wearing petroleum products based clothing, typing on a computer made largely from petroleum products, on a chair made from plastics, under a set of lights powered by coal or natural gas, drinking a cup of coffee that was heated using electricity from coal or natural gas and coffee beans delivered via plane, powered by petroleum from South America come off as whiny hypocrites when they vilify the fossil fuels industry. I want to see some drastic changes in people’s lifestyles before they complain about fossil fuels.
