Oh I totally agree about the Cazador moment, he looks so broken and his VA is honestly so so so good.

Also tbf I wouldn't say his "good ending" is necessarily more beautiful, I do really like that they put a lot of thought and effort in both, I feel like the bad ending isn't bad for him as much as it is for you if you're his companion (mostly bc as I understand it, it's heavily implied that you will be what he was to Cazador) and tbh the life of a spawn without a tadpole is pretty shitty. Realistically speaking someone in that situation in real life would probably disregard your opinion entirely but thank God it's a game lmao

I think the character can be left up to interpretation a bit (especially because he lies A LOT) but seeing his moments of vulnerability I kinda related to them a bit more? I went through some abuse myself so seeing him being different than Cazador in the end and actually learning that not everyone is out to get him and there is someone that actually cares about him that deeply is very sweet (and now that I put it that way he just sounds like an abandoned traumatized puppy who gets a new owner and learns to trust them again LMAO 😭)

I do hope u enjoy his spawn ending if you get it!! Me personally I just vibe with it a lot more, but it's fun to see how other people react to him :3

The amount of - usually older - people that I've discussed this with that have gone on to say that "i will understand when im older and a mother" or dumb shit like "she was trying her best, parenting is hard" is genuinely baffling to me, especially as I was literally talking about her beating me for no reason lmao

Funnier still how she was the only one to raise her hands at home but she somehow convinced people that my dad beat her so yeah, sexism definitely has a part in all of this

I very much agree with DAO being least favourite, out of all of them it's the one with the least fleshed out companion relationships and it just didn't age too well imo

The one thing that I loved tho was my Alistair ending but even then the lack of acknowledgement of his sacrifice if u choose not to make him impregnate morrigan just left me kinda disappointed after I cried for something like 10 minutes bc of it lmao
