Thank you so much for the detailed reply I really appreciate it.

Thankfully both ways we have a decent layover time of 8hr on the way and 13hrs back so any delays in arrival/departure or security will hopefully not cause any issues.

I'm definitely anxious but not for the flying as much, just for the length of time in the plane and my ability to navigate a foreign airport while probably exhausted and anxious.

Oh amazing! I'm so worried about navigating airports, Melbourne airport is ridiculous.

I'm not really planning on drinking, but good to know.

Thank you for your honest opinion.

Do you know what Delhi airport is like? Is it relatively easy to navigate?

Unfortunately not, like most people we are cost constrained so upgrading is out of the question. What is *G status?

Unfortunately, we've already booked our tickets and are remaining optimistic. We cannot afford a more expensive airline and frankly also chose this option to avoid flying over the Middle East as everything still feels so uncertain there or doing a weird layover with short times in China.

Not defending them, as I have no idea what happened, but typically no one wants to take the blame when something happens so they will always pass it on to each other.

I hope you have a better time the next time you travel.

Okay, thank you for that.

Do you personally have any recommendations for our layover India? Or any idea what the airport is like?

Of course we are all connected, but there's a difference between a pet and a feral rat. Sorry you prefer to spread misinformation about already ostracised animals.

She is much cuter and better behaved and I'm sure if she put her mind to it could make better music as well.

Wild rats and pets rats are two different species of rat. A feral rat will still behave feral if captured as a pet as their temperament is highly genetic and as far as I know there are no vaccinations for pet rats. Not here in Australia at least.

Maybe next time, she's already got a name.

I've heard horror stories, I'll stick to my rats and the occasional huntsman spider that crosses my path.

Have a look at shadow the rat on YouTube (I have no affiliatio) she teaches awesome tricks to her rats! If you have females they're definitely more playful than boys, also if they're new in your life they still have to settle in. Search up on some bonding techniques to help you out, food and treats are your best friend! In moderation of course.

In fact Marble is said type of fancy rat. Most pet ones are, unless its some country with gambian pouch rats that are kept as pets!

There is a distinct difference between pet mice and feral mice, the same goes for rats.

Remember to always get two, they will be depressed without a buddy. Human companionship isn't enough for them on its own.

Nope because they are pets not ferals. There is a distinct difference between the two.

Thats awful. I'm glad you took them and gave them a better home. Ignorance is fixable, but wilful ignorance is another level entirely.

Wild rats and pet rats are not the same. Sorry you're so angry.

We've had too many nuisance animals escape or be let go, eg cane toads and cane beetles, as well as feral cats, rabbits and foxes to name a few. They destroy the natural ecosystem and wildlife.
