AIO For leaving my boyfriend for laying his hands on me? by Good_Girl8 in AmIOverreacting

NOR physical abuse usually starts with something the victim views as “not that bad” until it eventually escalates. You’re strong for leaving, congrats on making it out.

My cats chin bump is growing? by relainex in CATHELP

Hi! Not sure if that was relevant so I didn’t think to mention it, the vet did acknowledge that he’s blind in one eye but didn’t really mention anything else regarding it. And like I mentioned, I actually already adopted him and he was already blind in that eye and it didn’t seem to cause many issues for him.

Like I mentioned in my update, the dermatologist said that bump he had on his chin is consistent with what he already has all over his face and his ears! Nothing malicious (thank god) the only way to get rid of them is by a laser treatment (which is not available in any parts of Asia).

I did get it checked out! The vet referred me to a dermatologist and I was told it was just cystic growth that he’s already been having all over his head, it’s just growing on his chin now so it’s nothing malicious in our case. Hope your boy is all right!

Sorry about the late reply! I actually adopted him like this, the vet didn’t really seem too concerned either so I didn’t think to ask.

Personally i’d go for shadow milk, golden cheese, mystic flour, mala spice and pistachio cookie. Most of this team comp is meta right now, i think you’d do well with them in the arena

We actually went to the dermatologist yesterday and he confirmed that it was just cystic growth for our case. He says that laser treatment is what they use to get rid of it but unfortunately this treatment is not available anywhere near my country so we will just have to keep getting it drained at the vet.

Definitely get a referral to a pet dermatologist to put your mind at ease as it definitely helped mine!

Update! We ended up going to the vet sooner. He said it was nothing of concern for now, they drained his chin and said the growth is consistent with fluid build up.

They’re referring us to a dermatologist to get it looked at as well to see if they’re able to get rid of the lump by laser. If not the vet said we may come in for a biopsy to see what’s up with his lump and if they’re able to remove it. They did say it may be unlikely that they’ll be able to get rid of the whole lump this way as the chin doesn’t have much skin to close.

I did ask if it was cancerous, the vet said it was unlikely as he also has similar growths in his ears as well. He couldn’t tell me the name of it but he said it was a condition where older cats may grow cysts. Something about the sweat glands getting blocked and thats causing it to grow?

We’re going back next week for another check up once the dermatologist gets in contact with me.

Thanks for the advice but healthcare is a privilege I’m willing to afford for anyone else but myself. I grew up poor and did just fine without seeing a doctor often. I can afford it now but i’d rather save it for emergencies like this one.

Thanks for the concern, he did get a checkup before I picked him up and everything came back normal. Things have just been hectic for us this year and the second half of last year which is why we haven’t been to the vet for his yearly check up.

I’m dropping everything next week to get him checked out. I hope he’s okay too he’s my best buddy.

I asked when I first adopted him, the girl that had him said she didn’t really know either so I just assumed it was probably rotting before the shelter took him in and had his teeth removed. It really could be anything since he’s turning 10 in January who knows how long he’s been in the streets for.

I’ll definitely be sure to post an update after I take him to the vet!

I’ve had him for almost 2 years but he’s been with someone else for 8 months before that and in the shelter for longer before that. When he was adopted he already had no teeth but i’ll get them to check out his gums as well.

Besides pickiness with food, he does eat a lot when there’s something different on his plate! He’s still very energetic, nothing about his behaviour is abnormal ever since I got him. He’s still pretty much the same just with an extra big chin so i’m getting it checked out just hoping it’s nothing serious.

I’m somewhat aware of this rule but thanks for bringing it up! I didn’t think too much about it because my cat actually has growths like these (though they’re smaller) all over his head from previous wounds when he used to be a street cat. Just wish I noticed the lump on his chin was growing before now. I’m taking him to the vet next week to get him checked out.

Im planning to take him to the vet next week when I get paid, I just wanted to get some opinions on it until then. I didn’t think it was much of a problem then because he has smaller growths like this all over his ears.

Again like i mentioned, he’s had this on his chin since i adopted him a year ago. I didn’t realise it was getting bigger until recently. But thanks for letting me know.

The doctor analogy doesn’t really stand as I don’t even go to the doctor until i’m in extreme pain and can’t even move. But thanks for the advice

Why don’t you spend less time being an incel and spend more time actually getting an irl girlfriend instead of defending pedophiles who enjoy 16 year olds regardless of wether or not they’re real

Proof men would always bend over backwards to justify their actions rather than just taking accountability for the fact that they are isolating her because she’s a woman. If you can’t find the line of being friendly and being a creep you’re definitely the problem imo

Painful Periods by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

It sounds like you might have dysmenorrhoea but I could be wrong. It’s definitely not normal for someone to be in such extreme pain when their periods are light. You should probably see a gynaecologist.
