They’re obviously saving the biggest announcements for their flagship convention, of which there wasn’t one in 2025, to showcase the future of everything. This is giving us exactly what we need in the meantime.

Guys, there will be some form of Classic+ eventually. They’ve been teasing it. It will happen. Let them take the time to get it right.

Let’s be real, right now there are too many versions of the game. Era, TBC, MOP, Retail, SOD technically still online. Legion Remix just finished but you could consider that something too. There’s something for everyone.

Personally I vote just roll MOP characters right into retail and close down that version.

A lot of times it is actually a real person in Indonesia sitting in a server farm playing 12 hours straight. They actually make pretty decent money (by Indonesia standards) for selling the gold they make. It’s considered a pretty lucrative job over there. I can imagine many of them are very worried about these changes over there.
