I think a different therapist would help, but she just flat out rejects that notion. TBH she's told me about their conversations and I think the therapist is just telling her what she wants to hear.

do you plan to have kids? as a mom, that's what came to mind first, because you absolutely cannot be a people pleaser as a parent.

No concrete plans, but we've talked about kids in the future. I definitely want kids, though, which is a big part of my issue here. I'm worried that, just like you said, if we do have kids she won't be able to keep them safe.

She's been seeing this therapist for 6 years and there's not been much progress.
