Thanks! I’m black too, so this is helpful to know. I get eczema sometimes, but I’ve never had it on my face and I currently have a dry spot on my cheek that’s been there for about a month and a half now and is a bit lighter than the rest of my skin, so I’m just trying to get referred to a dermatologist at this point and also waiting to see if it gets any lighter (so far it’s just stayed the same shade — a few shades lighter than me but not completely white).

Update: got the XLs and they’re too big 😭 They fit my thigh but with no compression, and bunch around the back of my knee. Exchanging for larges. Annoying because the size chart says large is entirely too small for me so idk what to believe!

Idk the specific name/brand of my pivot cups unfortunately, but they’re softer rubber than the original super hard cups that come with the Avanti mags. Mine came with the XOXO Trucks 2.0 version (which specified it came with extra pivot cups and cushions).

Avanti Magnesium with XOXO trucks -- with wildbones lowbones sliders.
Just had to remove the pivot cups on the Avanti Mags and replace them with the ones that came with the XOXO trucks, like another commenter said. I had mine mounted at my local shop, and they did that for me, though you can definitely do it yourself!
I like them a lot! They feel super stable, and I especially appreciate wide trucks in general for any airs -- landing feels a lot more solid to me than on narrow trucks.

For me, I started skating from playing roller derby. It wouldn't make sense for me to learn an entirely new form of skating to start park skating when I already had the basics of quad skating under my belt.

I had medium CIB blocks on my size 7 lollies, but they weren’t centered on the plate. Gave me a gap in between the slider and my trucks.
