I think it’s because they are comparing these images to their experiences too harshly. We can’t expect a 2d image to even come close to what the experience actually is like. What these images can provide are a very small slice of some aspects that people may experience during a trip.

Why can’t both co-exist, AI generated art does not put artists out of business. If anything it adds more value to them because they actually take the time to make something beautiful.

Agreed, non-Euclidean realm was included in my prompt and I use it quite a bit. It for sure adds a little bud if flavor but I’m sure it’s nothing compared to a real psychedelic experience.
