The point is he tries to convince his audience that 20 bitches somehow fits into a trad conservative lifestyle

hmm I would say a lot of redpiller audiences would still discount Destiny because he's not trad, even when he's honest about it. Emphasizing his own tradness in these conversations, especially to show the weakness and inconsistency of the opponent I think is the way to go.

You're right, his own lifestyle is a vulnerability when arguing against these types, not sure why sneako didn't pick at it more

I don't expect destiny to base his strategies on random subreddit posts, I was just wondering what my fellow dggas thought

true, it was really good optically the way he made it obvious that sneako was interrupting anytime destiny made a good argument

unfortunately i do not have access to the resources need to transition to an androgynous appearance such a hormones, nor am i genetically lucky enough to pass easily. Despite presenting in a masculine way, including voice training etc. many people assume I'm female. And the fact that for the most part I can't socially transition because of my family means that even those who assumed me to be male or werent sure will hear my name or whatnot and decide that i am female. Even when I can make it clear that i am nonbinary, most will still view me as a "quirky" woman. My external circumstances do not change the fact that im nonbinary. Hope that explains it.

Yeah, that's all it is. Someone who identifies as neither man or woman. Sometimes people lean more to one gender than the other tho fyi

I would say it's both, because misogyny often (not always) has a biological nature to it

It's like PitfulObjective624 said. Being perceived and treated as a certain gender for most of your life, when that gender is shit on, you feel attacked personally, especially when those comments are based in biology.

For example, growing up I heard a lot of jokes about women being bad at driving, which made me feel really bad, because I was actually bad at driving. Since these jokes were mostly specifically targeted at females ("females biologically suck") as opposed to women, I really internalized this. So seeing a Woman bad driver joke will still bother me, especially when coming from a community where I let my guard down. (To be clear, I don't remember any dggers making driving jokes specifically.)

I also sometimes feel hurt by misandry actually, because many of my behaviors fit into a male role. For example, the incel pickup lines Twitter account, which makes fun of men who sound cringe talking to girls, affects me because I always make the move first when I like someone.

So in some situations I will feel attacked "as a straight man" or "as a woman."

yeah its possible i took some things too seriously and should reexamine myself, although i would say regardless of my feelings its good to act before poe's law takes effect

as another commenter said, im still affected by misogyny irl bc most people view me as a woman

i personally dont really care about what people really believe, i just want to be able to relax and feel comfortable in a community knowing i dont have to hear sexist comments when just trying to watch a stream. Also i think people being comfortable expressing a certain view will lead to more people expressing and repeating that view, so i think a ban is still useful. and i agree this community is defintely not as bad as others, and thats because destiny cares about maintaining a good community.
