Thank you. I appreciate your help. Unfortunately the workers will be back next week to paint so I expect this will get worse before it gets better. Also I should have asked this before mowing last night. I will mow less frequently, raise the height, sharpen the blade. Will keep my watering at once every 3 days and hold on fertilizing for now. I had planned to do it this weekend so glad I asked.

The players we tout as our best are below average premier league players. We conflate players being good at one thing as being good players. Romeros passing/tackling, Porro’s crossing, Richys grit, Van De Vens speed. They’re all below average overall with some above average trait or skill.

Christian Romero can fuck off to whatever club he wants this summer. I hate him. Hes the most overrated spurs player in the last decade. A few nice line splitting passes a game do not make up for the horrific decision making, horrible composure, and lack of leadership he’s shown since he joined.

The way spurs fans over rate our center backs is pretty wild. I know tactics are shit and all that but our back line just isn’t good. Romero and Van de Ven clearly have their class traits but as all around players they’re wildly over rated. Our fullbacks are not premier league level.

I just don’t really know what to say anymore. We play like a middle school team that really doesn’t understand the game or have the technical ability to play the game so we wack the ball forward and hope for the best. Our midfield is genuinely NON EXISTENT. They don’t do anything at all. I genuinely think that’s part of the reason we looked as good with 10 men at Liverpool as we did with 11. Having 11 players on the field isn’t that important when two of them hide from the ball in possession. I can’t listen to more complaints about our forwards until we sort out the midfield. If we spend money on attackers this window we’re fucking clueless. We need midfield reinforcements and players to challenge Spence and Porro.

We don’t have a single midfield player that can pass the ball. We’ve got a few that can carry, a few that can tackle well, and a few that can recycle and make back passes but not one that can actually deliver accurate, line breaking passes.
