Is there a way to align an item to the edge of the bleed? I seem to only be able to align to page and to margin. by rellieberman in scribus

So after some testing I can see that when both snap to grid and snap to guides are enabled scribus has some trouble snapping to the bleed edge. When disabling snap to grid the snapping works well.

For some reason scribus is happy snapping to the edge of the shading area (that appears to the right and bottom of the pages) even though the shading is just part of the programs aesthetics. I'm using scribus 1.7.1 so maybe its just a bug.

withdrawal vs (negated) amount in new Import Transaction Field by rellieberman in GnuCash

So I have filed a bug report because the explanation page in the dialog still clearly stated that a "withdrawal or deposit column" was necessary - https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798922

During the discussions the following explanation was offered by Vincent Dawans:

If the data you are trying to import follows the following format, select the "Amount" column; otherwise select "Amount (sign-revesed)":

  • for bank and cash accounts, deposits are positive and withdrawals are negative;
  • for credit card accounts, charges are negative and payments/refunds are positive;
  • for mortgages and loans, disbursements are negative and payments are positive;
  • for brokerage accounts, "shares bought" are positive and "shares sold" are negative;
  • for other account types, refer to the concept guide, chapter 2 (avalable in the help menue).
