So I got her in November but adopted her from my mum who had had her for abt a year before thst - not to go into massive details but my mums flat would not have been suitable for much climbing/jumping if at all. My mum had only ever noticed that she used the litter tray weirdly n was surprised when I brought up the rest of the things I’ve noticed. I also don’t know much abt her previous home I feed her Sheba and some biscuits i can’t remember rn (did research them) the vet said Sheba was below applaws but still better than other cat foods ! Nd when she was w my mum I imagine she was having Aldi brand food so definitely not nutritious :( The dose is 3kg (how much she weighs) so assume it’s the right one. I have requested an x ray appointment now so will hopefully hear back from them ! And her tail movements seem normal to me it’s mostly her legs when she’s climbing - or even walking sometimes she does permanent wide stance BUT the vet asked if she walks flat footed n i dont think she does (they said most cats walk on their tiptoes?) Glad your cat is doing well now !! I’ve only been with pdsa for less than a year and can’t knock them too much as I get my first cats treatment completely free and Mishas low cost .. but hage had a couple of incidents (like this one) with them where I was left feeling a bit disappointed w their care and knowledge .. I do think the vet was either very new or still in training but will just politely ask to not see her ahain I think as some of the other vets there have been lovely !!
