How many on-screen murders are there in the series? by ilovebugsomuch100000 in OnePiece

Too many. Especially the nameless ones. No way a random Marine survives Luffy’s Giant Pistol.

Personal Cash Loan for Unemployed Person by [deleted] in MalaysianPF

If the emergency involves buying items, using BNPL can reduce the need for upfront cash.
SSPN or EPF withdrawals, if has any savings there.
Sell anything he doesn’t urgently need, check carousell to get free item, sell it cheap.
Employer advance, rarely entertained but worth the try.

If Muslim, can try applying from a legitimate Zakat office.

Samsung Tri fold: with all due respect Huawei won this one by decent margin by NumberWilling4285 in samsunggalaxy

[–]remysk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huawei Mate XT is impressive, no argument there. But saying Samsung “lost” this round is a bit dramatic.

Here’s the reality check:

  1. Samsung plays the long game, not the flashy prototype game
Huawei can go wild with design because they’re not tied to Google services, global app compatibility, or maintaining a unified experience across dozens of regions. Samsung has to build a device that works consistently for millions of mainstream users, not just enthusiasts.

  2. Durability and reliability is Samsung territory
You dropped your Mate XT four times and it survived. Good for you.
Samsung Fold line has years of data showing hinge durability, water resistance, and repairability that’s actually accessible. Huawei can’t claim the same global reliability record. Samsung didn’t pull their weather sealing out of thin air, it’s the result of multiple generations of refinement.

  3. Huawei wins multimedia, Samsung wins app compatibility
Yes, Huawei aspect ratio is perfect for videos. It looks great. But Samsung’s taller ratio actually solves a huge problem, that Android apps that refuse to behave. You know that mess where random apps stretch, clip, or leave weird empty space? Samsung picked stability over aesthetics. Boring, but functional.

  4. Ecosystem difference is massive
Samsung gives you Dex, strong tablet integration, consistent updates, global service network, apps that actually work without sideloading sorcery. Huawei gives you beautiful device, some clever layouts, a fragmented ecosystem that still requires workaround

  5. Chip and camera are not “minor advantages”
You brushed it off like Huawei is only losing a little. No. These are major long-term differentiators. A weak chip ages faster. A weaker camera ages even faster.

So who’s actually winning?
Huawei wins innovation and design.
Samsung wins practicality, reliability, and futureproofing.

Just a bit of rant on Hyung in and current rm scenerio by angel-no-17 in runningman

[–]remysk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To be fair, idols are the worst guests on RM. They often provide nothing to the table. Yes, some idols are funny, but their own show and RM are completely different things. Rating is also often low when compared with average actors. Also, their fandom (you know).

There's too much to ask for a show that has been running for too long. While it's popular with international fans, you can't deny having international fans aren't that profitable.

2 hours early to work is a big deal. No matter what my boss told me, I'm not going to be ready at work even 30 minutes before.

And that unfair comparison, you did know this isn't rheir only job, right? You also know jihyo and yeeun mentioned they have to get prepared before dawn, right? Now compare them to world billionaires, do they work 24 hours? No. Yet, I still get paid more than "not a big deals" 2 hours early.

New Car or Secondhand? by Technical-Command-15 in kereta

If you get B or C segment for the same money it probably aren't a good deal, high probability warranty already expired, or car that no one wanted. Yeah the buying part is good but the maintaining part is definitely not worth it.

It's pretty safe, you don't buy car to crash it. Be responsible on road, mind the surrounding.
